now im really thinking about scorpius probably tortured albus by accident. saying shit like “i would name my future daughter after you” and “when we’re old and married we should have kids around the same time so they can be best friends and maybe they can fall in love and we can be proper family fr” and “i would want you to be the godmother to my future kid/i want you to be my maid of honour at my future wedding/i want us to be neighbours when we settle down with our future families eventually and get our forever homes” like ACTUAL torture and all albus can manage is a pained “yeah for sure.” all this talk about getting married and scorpius never once thinks about or mentions whoever her future husband is, she’s only thinking about ways to tie herself to albus irreversibly in a way thats socially acceptable

I just realized I never showed you guys the Albus commission I got from talitasami on Instagram (she's also the one I worked with on the James and Helena art). Sooooo, here you go!

I've mentioned it before, but Albus' patronus being a Thestral is so special to me 🥺 it just makes sense to me because I feel like it represents his growth as a person, especially after the events of TCC with Delphini. I think he grew up so much from that incident, and in general I think he's more of a realist than his siblings. I think Albus has always felt things very deeply and is a very empathetic person, but learned to guard himself due to being bullied at school and how rough it probably was to grow up with a famous father (a famous family really). Being a legacy couldn't have been easy, he was misunderstood on every level because of the house he was sorted into, but he came into his own in a very significant way.

I think his patronus taking the form of a Thestral, something he used to be scared of because James would tease him with them, is very poignant. In a way representing him taking strength and creating protection out of fear. Recognizing and accepting his fears and deciding to be strong in spite of them. I think after witnessing Craig's death, Albus was able to see Thestrals, and was able to acknowledge them properly and get to know them on a deeper level, growing to love them quite genuinely. He was really happy when his patronus took the form of a thestral because he'd grown to love them so much. ((Also he thinks of memories with Scorpius in order to conjure his patronus, obviously))

I just love Albus Severus Potter so damn much, yall.

it's very surreal to see posts about palestine dwindling down after the ceasefire. israel is still blocking aid to and trying to make life difficult for palestinians in gaza. we still have to continue to speak up about gaza.

in this ceasefire, many palestinians are trying to rebuild in attempts to try and return to what they had before the genocide. despite the heavy and unbearable loss of life that gaza has experienced, her people continue to try to make a better world for their children.
