I am #privileged. I live in a country that millions have put their life on the line for, specifically so I wouldn't have to. I try to make an effort to recognize those who have served for this purpose. I choose to play a different roll, but I also have the option to show respect or neglect. Appreciate the actions of others, whether selfish or otherwise, especially when they align in your favor. With that being said, thank you for your service to anyone who is reading this and has served, whether that be in the military, as an officer, firefighter and anything in between. YOU are helping all of us. To any one who hasn't served and has gotten this far, thank you too, because your decisions will #shapethefuture.

👌Just a reminder not to allow society to shove you into any categories. Before anything, be yourself. What others think of you is less important than what you think of yourself, and developing self-cinfidence is more valuable than most people are aware

I actually took this to send to some face care facility, but I'm also going to use it here. In all honesty, I'm so grateful for my skin. I used to hate it because of the blemishes and acne and such, but I've slowly come to accept it for what it is. I intend to take care of my skin of course, but the idea doesn't bother me anymore. With that being said, I hope you all can appreciate your own skin for what it's worth, regardless of what it may look like or what may have happened to it. Skin is just armor, and blemishes represent another war survived. Cherish your battle scars, regardless of what they may look like.
