I love many things about the video of Hussein and Rajwa leaving the hospital but at the top of the list is definitely Salma chilling in sweats right next to them

Mabrook! Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah of Jordan, recites the Adhan (call to prayer) to the ear of his newborn, Princess Iman bint Al Hussein, born on 3 August 2024. The little princess is the first child of the crown prince & Princess Rajwa.
In Islam, the moment a baby is born, the Adhan, is whispered by the father into the right ear of the child. “There is no deity but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” It follows the Islamic principle that the very first words the baby hears be that of the Adhan.

King Abdullah II, Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan attended the national event marking the Silver Jubilee, held on the 25th Accession to the Throne Day on 9 June 2024.
Upon Their Majesties’ arrival to the event venue surrounded by the Red Motorcade, the national anthem was played and Royal Jordanian Air Force fighter jets conducted a fly-past.
Around 9,000 Jordanians attended the event, including members of the Royal family, senior officials and officers, and diplomats from Arab and foreign countries.
The event highlighted Jordan’s achievements throughout a quarter of a century, through a military parade by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies, showcasing the latest developments in these national institutions, reflecting the high professionalism and commitment of its personnel.
Around 3,200 personnel from all military and security formations and units marched before the stands.
The military parade also showcased various JAF vehicles, including tanks, cannons, and other weapons recently introduced to service, as well as defence machinery manufactured by the Jordan Design and Development Bureau, along with air shows by the Royal Jordanian Air Force, and free falling paratroopers.
The JAF musical band also performed at the event.
During the event, His Majesty and the attendees saluted border guards and anti-terrorism troops, as well as cadres who participated in airdrops to Gaza and worked at the field hospitals in the strip, in recognition of their efforts, and their role in safeguarding Jordan’s stability.
The event also featured cultural and folklore segments representing all governorates performed by over 1000 young men and women, with 12 floats representing each governorate.
A group of young Jordanians performed the Silver Jubilee anthem and another national song composed for the occasion.

Princess Rajwa Al Hussein of Jordan's Silver Jubilee Gown.
Crafted by Jordanian women artisans with intricated embroidery details, the dress designed by Saudi fashion designer Honayda Serafi is a homage to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The choice of the designer is a perfect balance between the princess' Saudi background and her newly adopted homeland.
This is the second time Honayda has been tasked with dressing the princess. Prior to the royal's marriage with the Jordanian crown prince, the Saudi designer created a bespoke gown for her henna party, receiving much praise internationally. Serafi expressed her gratitude for Princess Rajwa's support
“Extending my sincere thanks to HRH Princess Rajwa Al Hussein for choosing HONAYDA to design her distinctive look on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. As a designer and creative director, HRH encouragement unleashed my creativity in designing the look, and her trust was a powerful motivator that fueled my passion and commitment to highlighting elegance, and cultural heritage together through our designs and sustaining them for future generations. Looking forward to more cooperation with HRH Princess Rajwa and her constant support for inspiring success stories.”

The Saudi fashion house Honayda designs a special outfit for Saudi-born Princess Rajwa Al Hussein to celebrate the 25th Silver Jubilee of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on 9 June 2024.
Heritage Artistry: The two-piece look honored Jordanian traditions, featuring intricate embroidery and traditional patterns crafted by Jordanian women artisans, who took 120 hours embellishing the collar as well as the border of the cape. The artwork shocases heritage embroidery using traditional tools and techniques where intricate cross-stitched patterns featured traditional motifs including geometric shapes and symbolic elements reflecting local customs, guided by the artistic direction of Honayda. The design, which took over 950 hours to complete, incorporated both age-old Jordanian techniques and Honayda’s 3D signature embroidery in the colors of the Jordanian flag. The ensemble celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Jordan and the enduring legacy of the Hashemite Kingdom, reflecting Princess Rajwa’s unique balance of softness and strength.
The Colour of the Design: the deep, pigmented red was chosen for the look, where red represents the Hashemite dynasty. This rich hue is traditionally associated with strength and passion, embodying royalty and translating the love to the land. The choice of this regal colour added a majestic allure and elegance to the dress, tailored in a flowing georgette fabric.
The Iris Flower: to comeplete the design, Honayda chose the iris flower as a symbol of royalty, wisdom, and hope, where the flower was intricately embroidered in a 3D silver motif. Each petal and leaf was carefully shaded to create a realistic appearance, enhancing the overall design and adding a layer of symbolic meaning that resonates with the significance of the occasion.
