Five thousand strangers. Not all of them are even humans. Maybe half of them are just robots.

They’re busy. Usually they just run by. Sometimes they’ll pause for a second but that’s it.

They are bombarded by distractions, ads, popups, notifications, texts, messages, attention grabbers, time consumers. My art is just one of those things, begging for the scarcest resource, their attention.

Sometimes they like my art. Other times, they’ll grab it and put on their wall in order to bombard the strangers that follow them. Most of the time they ignore it, skip, pass, scroll, slide... Off to their next distraction. 

Only a fraction of them reads anything. A fraction of those reads more than the headline. Just a couple did actually read to the end. Did anyone?
