Happy new year everyone. I haven't posted on this blog that much, but I've been playing the sims this whole time. I've been thinking about starting a sims youtube channel, but idk. Maybe one day. In the mean time, I've been up to no good, and creating sim monstrosities.

Another joint project! This time one between DavinaOjeda and I. Because I have ideas and lack the knowledge of clothing/clothing defaults but she is a wizard with those very things!

Anyway, I randomly wanted a maid sort of skeleton, but I wanted less the indentured servant that is Bonehilda and more the minion of just a straight up skeleton. I wanted it to clean and be useful, but I didn’t want to be bothered to actually play it. That means a servo style thing was out and that left us with the spectral assistant. Almighty Hat did a Bonehilda version of the spectral assistant already, so there was a nice base to start with. Bingo. However, spectral assistants aren’t very useful for Evil Witches…they just attack people. with this mod by hmiller61615 though, they act as regular Good Witch Assistants. But I hate the mesh…so I fixed that.

So now you get the updated spectral assistant summoner, that summons you up a skeleton minion to do your chores for you. This skeleton is a DEFAULT REPLACEMENT to all spectral assistants.

The only real changes I made to the summoner object itself was add in an apperance menus so you can choose between four meshes + an invisible version of it. It has it’s own GUID. An altered NPC file that was done by hmiller61615 must be used with and is included.

Again, I can never do anything simple really so I made 16 different versions of skeleton. Why 16? Technicalities. See, no matter what Davina and I did and because of the nature of the way the skeleton had to be done to preserve transparency…there’s some backwards transparency issues. Meaning your skeleton is a little see through in places it really shouldn’t be. Not glaringly transparent, but still is. However, because I’m picky I couldn’t stand for that…Davina came up with the idea of doubling the mesh and BAM, now opaque. Means double the poly count too…fine for my computer but not for everyone else’s. I decided to be nice and include both versions. Version 2 of these files is the double poly mesh version. Version one is ~3k and Version 2 ~6K. Each version comes in 8 colors, but you can only pick 1 color and 1 version for you game.

Incandescent Candles - Functional Candles

Sims with access to the raw materials for candle making, and possessing a bit of creativity skill may create candles that while not permanent will produce light between 3-6 hours depending on the type of candle.

Sims will clarify wax sources into a useable state and use molds to shape both this into usable blocks and then into other candle shapes later. No need to worry about uneven layers with all that dipping.

Sims with a high logic skill, as well as creativity may even be able to make some more unusual candles…
