Since I don’t have time to draw, have some possible Furiosa OC concepts?:

Devorah - Low-ranking priestess that works with Remus to spread the ~Good Word~? Perhaps her purpose was to console husbands/wives who lost children and assure them that they would be going to the Green Paradise for their “loyalty to the colony”….But instead of boosting morale, she began losing faith herself because, hey, this whole situation kinda…messed up :’) 

I imagine she would’ve grown close to those who lost a number of kids (like Haukea) due to how many times she’d have to visit, so it wouldn’t be difficult to convince her to help them escape :|c

Naya - A wanderer trying to find her place. Plot-convenient amnesia prevents her from remembering that she’s a victim of a raid on her now-slaughtered tribe, though it’s starting to come back to her in flashes. Unlike in canon, she’s naturally good at fixing machines up and has been offering her help in exchange for food and company.

I dunno if she would be part of a new tribe that she’s looking to leave because of how out of place she feels or what, because she certainly couldn’t survive in this setting alone :|c

…And that’s it, character-wise, for now. I sorta want to bring Sisa into Flood AU but not in this setting bc she’d definitely shrivel up… MY POOR PLANT BABY—-

Haukea // (Shiny) Dustox

Voluntarily became one of Murat’s wives, which her people consider to be an honor… Plus, he provided a clean environment for her to live in, saving her from asthma attacks. But she’s growing tired of letting this dude violently fuck her various orifices–and on top of that, the few kids she’s managed to bear for him were all weak-ass asthmatic wurmples who couldn’t survive infancy. 

So this whole wife deal is starting to not work out for her, and at some point I want her to escape, either on her own or with help? (Either way, she will have to join a group at some point, because there’s no way she can survive on her own.) And in the process, she’ll steal one of Allen’s portable air filtration devices. 

(I decided that Allen will work for Murat btw, since I don’t think I ever specified which warlord he’s with?? And btw, the reason he has machines to assist with breathing is because he himself is a fucking weenie, and as an electric type, I imagine it’s not good to be breathing in sand and dirt all the time.)

Chehel // Durant

I don’t have too much on her right now…except that I imagine the Durants specialize in different tasks? Some are used for digging tunnels, some for driving, some for fighting, etc etc… And since Chehel was a soldier in canon, I imagine she’s used primarily for fighting in this AU, too. :Ic

Kaleo // Paras

He’s very close to evolving, and boy oh boy he can’t wait. :) The Paras/ects are basically just suicide soldiers: they aren’t great at combat, so the whole point is for them to get hit and release a cloud of spores over the enemy. Since Parasects produce more spores than Paras, the highest aspiration of the Paras is to evolve and provide a greater victory for Murat.

He may be grotesque, but don’t tell me he’s not the Nux of this universe:

I finally got to rewatch Mad Max today, courtesy of Ed, and it got us talking about Furiosa Island…and a potential colony of bug-types with Murat as the warlord??? So have Insect Plate!Remus… I know he doesn’t look like it, but he’s actually a good priest in this universe, LOL

I talked about having AU versions of Kaleo and Chehel for this, as well… The colony would be made up (or at least partly made up) of Paras/Parasect cannon fodder, and elite Durant soldiers? The Durants had an empire (??? idk what else to call it, I’m too tired to be verbose) that Murat took over, including the Paras/ects that were used by the Durants as serfs. Murat turned the Paras/ects into a loyal zombie-like army, while maintaining control over their former masters, the Durants, as well…

This is where Remus comes in: bringing the two groups together through the power of ~~religion~~!!! /shot Obv Murat is just using him, but Remus thinks he’s doing a genuinely good thing, preaching about the Green Paradise (aka the afterlife), where all loyal bugs go to after dying heroically.

Im just boopin' over with a little life update. I am exactly 2 weeks away from graduating! I hope everything goes smoothly. It has been a wild 8 months and i almost cant imagine i am finally moving on. For a present to myself... i am shelling out for a cintiq, making my dream since i was 12 come true. You better bet your asses im gonna be drawing OODLES. Also, my patreon will go live in 2 weeks, on the 16th. [EXTERNAL SCREAMING] I miss yall and i love ya, stay groovy and see you in a few B)

some life update

I’ve started my last class of my schooling, calculus I, and I can’t say I remember a lick of what I was taught in pre-cal and trig.

I’m trying though, and in 8 weeks I will be done! I think time is going to fly by. I gotta continue lurking but I’m really looking forward to hanging out with yall again. Stay cool, be safe, and let’s have a great summer <3

#funny enough I was expecting the sweat and smoke smell for Courage#but the body wash oh god…#idk how Kaikala could stand all those at once..#I mean the sweat doesn’t bother her too much because she was used to it of her own and the other’s around her when she would go to the gym#the sad thing is eventually she would get used to the body wash and smoke smell and it would become positive scents to her#because she associates them with Courage :’))#but also endgame smell for him is great hhh just smell like good food all the time
