ever since i’ve read And Then It Was (and re-read a couple times now), this specific phrase has been stuck in mind : “What about me makes this hard for you?”

though short, i feel like it really encapsulates the hurt, doubts and worries an individual could have when they feel like they’re not enough for their partner. it somehow feels so depressing in a way…like am i so hard to love?

maybe i just resonated with it a lot more because it was something i felt in my last relationships but i thought i’d just share this little thought of mine 🥲🥹

WOWWW🥹💜 I totally get what you mean here!! and cl's character in ATIW is someone who trusts and loves freely but is clearly still working on his own self-confidence and becoming his own person (separate from his fam/father)

i also have felt that exact thing and it's the WORST and poor bby cl had to deal with that in this fic i'm SICKKKKKK but it's alr it ended up good for him☠️😂
