āOn clay, it felt like I was stepping into your backyard, and you made me work harder than I ever thought I could just to hold my ground.ā

Sincaraz - a butterfly effect š¦āØ
Did the 20yr old Jannik Sinner have any idea what he was starting under the brights lights of paris when he whispered these 6 words āI hope we play some moreā to an 18yr old Carlos Alcaraz? Did he know he had just set the wheels in motion to what would unravel over the next few years? Did he know he had just whispered the first words of a storm that was to come? And if he could turn back time would he do the same again or would he have made a different choice? I wonder what would have been if he had let the wind carry his words instead of repeating himself? If he had just shook his head, smiled and said āNothing just congrats for the winā and went on his way. Well, i guess we will never know coz he did make sure he was heard didnāt he? He slowed, pulled him close and echoed it softly again. This time the 18yr old did hear him and with a gummy smile tugged at his lips told the older boy ya for sure he hopes for it too. There, thatās where it was done and they had sealed their fates together. There was no stopping it.They had made their choices. The wings had started flapping, a hurricane was being set in motionš¬ļøš¦āØ
#with all the adrenal high of that final I couldnāt sleep and ya this is the result of that match#my first dabble at what was supposed to be a web weave which ended up being a collage somehow#tbh the collage is all over the place & didnāt turn out the way i wanted&wouldnāt be posted if not for the written piece i wanted on my blo#I had put effort into the written piece and always personally loved the concept of chaos theory and how it fits into their narrative#so instead of discarding the collage thought Iāll have it queued up whilst Iām gone so here we are i guess#hopefully will get to complete the actual webweave with this concept i have in mind once i hav more time on my hands :ā)#until then my dear mutuals get the privilege of making sense of whatever this is lol#sincaraz the butterfly effect#jannik#carlitos#queued post

you know what I canāt get over of is that of course itās about winning and being the best of the best but bottom line is both Carlos and Jannik love to play. you can spend your entire career chasing numbers and records and trophies but if there isnāt love in the game, if there isnāt love in the simple act of hitting a ball with a racquet knowing someone else on the other side of the court is here for the same thing, then itās all pointless. losing is never fun and winning is always a joy but it wonāt matter if all you donāt see grace in it, if you donāt see a rival but only an enemy. I hope more people turn to watching tennis because Alcaraz and Sinner are redefining it almost in a way it happened with Nadal and Federer. two people who would fight to win by all means necessary but they show you true love of the sport and bare the soul of it. I canāt get over it. itās just honestly beautiful.

You know if you had asked me 3 months back (actaully nevermind even if u had asked me before this match) if he would come back from 2 sets down and save 3 championship points in a final and that too against jannik sinner the world no1 (and his favourite rival<3) who reached the final without dropping a set I donāt think i would have said yes infact i would have said it would be a miracle if that happened and thats exactly what he fuckin did today my god that was some magic there on the court and actually by both of them i mean you can never have a great match unless both players turn up for it but what counted today was the fact that carlitos had the mental strength to come back from that setback and fight back the way he did god that was what made me so fuckin proud of him he kept coming back again and again and again everytime he was down or when we thought it was so carlover(i mean we have seen it happen countless times so;)) he said NO NOT TODAY and that is growth and progress for me coz i repeat he would not have done that 3 months back and it takes so much head and heart to do that. so proud of you carlitos and again so grateful to him and his mind blowing tennis for bringing me into this world of tennis<3 also tbf the way jannik didnāt give up and fought through the last set and took it to the tiebreak also defined mental strength and tenacity for me! But today oh carlitos i wanna make it about you for various reasons and how you made me believe until the last point was called and it was just so beautiful that belief! and even if he wonāt be one of THE greats or maybe even if he wonāt have all the records in his name i will still be happy being his fan if i get to see such matches (another honorable mention wimby23) which leave me in awe of tennis at the hands of a genius who can do fuckin magic with it at will<333333 (the dropshot winners at the end as if to prove a point my boy u amaze me <333333) i mean at the end isnāt that what its about? Idk about others but it is why i watch this sport to feel all these emotions the highs and the lows(the lows of olympics final at paris is something again which I donāt think ill ever forget) and man the highs they feel so fuckin great so i hope he party the hell out in Ibizaš
#it means so much to me for various different reasons that I canāt explain#you know how its kinda personal that i canāt even explain even if i want to#idk maybe Iām talking nonsense probably after whatever that was#carlitos tennis<33333#carlitos#jannik#I didnāt have this in mind when i started typing it out but omg it has slipped past me and i m so elated for him so let it be on my blog
