Toontown headcanons [Gag edition]

In honor of my cream pie, here’s some gag headcanons

🥧 > There are gags pies and actual pie pies. Please don't eat the gag pies.

🥧 > The actual pies don't deal damage to cogs, it'll just make them very upset.

🥧 > Gags are actually designed to deal damage to cogs, there are made differently from standard items. Except for toon up, sound, and some zap.

🥧 > The gag pastries are edible, but they don't taste good. They're runny, cold, have overly think frosting, and are extremely dense. It's just not a fun experience.

🥧 > The same thing with the squirt gags. The water used is designed to mess up the cogs' innerworkings so they can short-circuit.

🥧 > There are nicer more prier gags but they cost a pretty jellybean and are harder to find because those gags are harder to make. These gags do more damage but the cost and effort to get them/make them is a bit much for toons.

Toontown headcanons [Toon edition]

🐶 > Toons have cartoon physics (ex: gravity doesn’t work until you look down, the ability to pull random things out of their pockets, being able to survive extreme physical trauma) It utterly baffles cogs.

🐶 > (Piggybacking from the headcanon above) Toons can survive being run over, squashed, crushed, etc, due to their anatomy. Toons are made of about 70%-80% ink and 20%-30% organic bits. This ink allows them to push and pull their bodies in strange ways. The organic parts of a toon allow them to eat, see, smell, hear, reproduce, etc

🐶 > Laff meters are accessories, mostly worn as brooches but some do wear them as belt buckles and head accessories.

🐶 > A happy toon is a healthy toon is very true. Sad toons are most likely to get sick, heal slower, and not put care into their bodies.

🐶 > Sad toons look more desaturated, move slower, have a slower reaction time, and feel tired 24/7. Toons that got sad from a cog battle often sleep off their sadness but do struggle with nightmares. Toons do wake up fine tho.

🐶 > Laff is not physical heath (it does relate to it tho) but mental health. TL;DR a sad toon got very bad depression

🐶 > Toon "hair" is just longer fur/feathers styled in a specific way. Not every toon has this because it takes a long time to keep up and is due to environmental factors (cog attacks, weather, gags, etc) The toons that do have "hair" often rarely fight cogs and are often in entertainment.

🐶 > Toons can be stretched pretty far. Please don't stretch your toons.

🐶 > Toons don't need food to live, but that doesn't mean that they're going to be happy about it tho. If a toon goes too long without food their laff (let's say 3ish-5ish days, depending on the toon) will slowly go down throughout the day by 1 or 2 points.
