        – SHORP. i know i’ve done it probably a million times by now & some of you are Tired as all hell with my dumbassery– but given how much i suck when it comes to blog jumping, & how the hub blog system isn’t working all that well for me, i’ve decided to move everyone over to @pasttorn​ ! it’s much easier for me to compile everyone there & write them all in a space where i’m p comfortable, rather than forcing myself to switch blogs so much & try so hard to keep them all active. sorry for the constant inconvenience & i hope y’all are still willing to plot / chat with me over there !

       An all too humored smile immediately placed itself on Hannah’s face, chuckling at the sight of the cute trio that she’d already been getting used to; even beginning to look forward to them coming in. Each time the two girls entered her shop it was a memorable event, their eager and bright faces reminding her of when her own Lucy was that age.

       “Well, hello girls! It’s lovely to see you today!” she greeted with a laugh, smiling down at the two of them as they ogled happily at her array of treats. Large glass containers, freshly stocked and decorated, were pleasing to the eye; she could hardly blame them for their excitement!

       Smile turning upward to meet the father, she gave a friendly wave; hoping to let him know that his adorable girls weren’t any trouble at all. In fact, Hannah wished children would come in more often, “Oooh, spicing things up with blueberry I see! Well, lucky for you, Mistral and the girls just finished those pies, so they’re nice and fresh!”

       Already preparing their order, Hannah kept her gaze on the girls’ father, a warm and knowing look in her eye, “Little girls- what can you do? My daughter still gets the same way around these goodies, and I’ve been working here for years now! Somehow the excitement over freshly baked goods never dulls for them~”

        he nods when he sees her waving at him, chuckles breaking out as the three of them listen to her rather cheery response, ❝ hear that, girls ? she says they got fresh pies ! ❞ they should’ve expected it, but the CHEER that comes at the revelation would melt the heart of the coldest bastard. or at least, that might’ve been his BIAS talking. since he had a pretty hard time believing anyone wouldn’t be absolutely smitten with them after spending only a couple minutes in their presence.

          hand comes to rest on edith’s head as he speaks, saying ❝ go see if there’s anything ELSE you guys want, yeah ? ❞ as he gestures for them to look around the place so he could finish ordering stuff in peace-- or god knows how many more things would be added to the list ( & they all knew a pie was all the sugar they needed for a WHILE ).

         eyes watch over the two as they RUN to the other side of the bakery, admiring the various treats. it amused him how they’d go around & get greeted other customers, who also recognised them due to their continuous visits ( only going to show just how much ATTENTION they drew to themselves ). said gaze only moves when hannah starts speaking, immediately understanding what the look meant.

        & with the understanding comes a heartfelt LAUGHTER ( with a warm smile to match )-- since really, any talk about the girls is enough to brighten his spirits, regardless of the day, ❝ HA, you’re right ! before you know it, they got you wrapped around their tiny little pinkies. the stuff here is good-- i could see why they’d never get tired of it. you should HEAR how much they talk about your guys’s baked things when at home. it’s almost like they don’t know what else to talk about ! ❞

        -- HC. he used to drink a LOT before he adopted the girls-- enjoying the buzz the drink gave him as often as a regular guy with problems does. though, all that changed soon after he took in the girls.

        -- SINCE then, he’s LARGELY limited how much he drinks. fore one, he NEVER drinks in front of them-- full on forbids himself from having any in the house / having friends bring a couple cans home whenever they come over. the only times he allows himself to drink or smoke, would be whenever he’s in the gang’s territory / his boss’s office & he’s 100 % sure they won’t see him. even then, he’ll only take a can or two, nothing more. 

        -- THOUGH he doesn’t know for sure ( since he hasn’t been a part of their life the entire time-- only for two, almost three years at most right now ), the girl’s don’t seem to have had any NEGATIVE experience with drunkards or alcohol in general. despite this, though, he still doesn’t feel comfortable drinking or smoking in front of them-- & he doesn’t like others doing so either.

        his entrance is RUSHED, fumbling to hold the door to the bakery open as the twins race their way inside. the words ❝ don’t run indoors ! ! ❞ instinctively come as he closes the door behind him, just like he has EVERY single time they enter the building, nodding at hannah the closer when the group got to the glass display. 

        as he does every time he comes, eyes SCAN the various goods that were out on display, as if debating on what to pick ( despite knowing full well he’ll just take the same as always ). ❝ -- hey, could we get a couple choco muffins ? just four, actually... and a-- ❞ he’s about to continue, but the twins interrupt him before he can say anything, simultaneously CHIRPING in with a cheery, ‘ and a blueberry pie  ! ! blueberry pie ! ! ' before he could stop them. 

        small smile forms at their quick interjection, shrugging at hannah as he finally continues with, ❝ -- and a blueberry pie, please ? we can have ‘em all to go. ❞ like always, really. the only DIFFERENCE between this order & the last was the type of pie ( but otherwise, it was basically the same as the couple handful previous visits he’d paid this same bakery ).

he absolutely ADORES working on DIY projects ! whenever scarecrow gets his hands on new estates / lands, or he finds a room he hasn’t visited before & comes up with an idea to re-decorate it, he’s totally in the zone. every time they need new furniture, or need a set up-- he’s on it. he’ll spend HOURS in an unfurnished room, piecing together pieces as he sees fit. sometimes his daughters come check up on him while he’s working on a project ( even chipping in ideas that he totally finds a way to make it work ! ), & he teaches them all there is to DIY !

his favourite movies are romance & drama movies ! he enjoys action & crime ones as well, but they don’t excite him as much as the other do ( especially since it’s part of his daily life, & he’s already used to it ). he gets embarrassed when kissing / sex scenes appear on the screen, though-- so much so he has to look away or cover his eyes.

he’s also pretty good at sewing ! whenever his girls rip their clothes when they trip on the ground or tear when they get snagged on a stray tree branch, they come to him to get it fixed. & being mister handy man ( more like, wanting to impress them by being a Cool Dad ), he practiced sewing so he could fix their clothes-- making them as if there was never a tear at all ! it was a PAIN to learn, but the smile in their faces every time he fixes something is totally worth it.

largely prefers summer for any other season. the cold makes him feel SLUGGISH & unproductive. whenever autumn or winter comes around, 10/10 times you’ll see him wrapped up in LAYERS of clothing, AND standing next to the nearest heater.

not a big coffee fan, but loves to drink tea ! strawberry, earl gray & mint tea are his favourites !

stated this a bit in the bio, but he’s not good at hand - to - hand / close combat. it’s why he’s much more prone to handguns & shotguns and, if necessary, sniping rifles. he has a double shoulder holster, where he keeps two handguns on his upper torso & a mini revolver tucked on his back at all times.
