Sharks have historically been Fish, so it’s interesting that they’re introducing it as a separate type here.
According to EDHREC, Metallurgic Summonings sees a lot of play in spellslinger decks, but this is both more expensive and missing the ability to recur spells. I don’t think it’ll see as much play as Summonings, but may still find it’s way into decks.

Magic: the Gathering - Throne of Eldraine Previews
Hey, I heard you may like Elves - Here is a Warrior and a Knight, the latter of which may be seen either rescuing ( or perhaps kidnapping ? ) two invididuals meeting the general description of Hansel and Gretel. All of which does not matter one lick as vengeful witch board-wipes the whole kit ‘n’ caboodle.

I’d like to request more “Race” Skeleton cards. Most skeletons are just that, skeletons. I wanna see some sort of world where a race has been wiped out… well except for the fact that all those Minotaur bones won’t stay dead and so there’s a whole host of them wandering around
Or Merfolk or Elf or Cat or Bird, or any number of other critters

So is Ugin’s solution to all his problems just “trap it on a plane I don’t care about”?
