Silly game time! for no other reason than I was asked a question and it was interesting

If you could have one conversation with someone of your choice (doesn't matter if they are from a different time/are a fictional character, just have to be a conscious being), who would that be?

Oooh... Hmmm...... 🤔 Well, part of me would love to talk directly to God to ask him stuff like,,, like what time is like in his eyes? Like, how he perceives it, navigates through it or whatever, but I'm also pretty positive any sort of answer to that would fly far above whatever my lil human brain could comprehend LOLL I could ask why mosquitoes are the way they are /hj

Maybe picking something simpler would be better tho, so I can at least... Comprehend the conversation....

Good grief this is hard, I'm such a shy and socially anxious person when it boils down to it that the idea of having a conversation with even a fictional character sounds kinda frightening HAHA like ?? What would I even say 😭 my sister and I were talking the other night about what LU character we'd feel the most comfortable with to just. Like. Sit by or whatever, and one of my top choices was Wind purely bcuz I know I could ask him a question and he'd be able to talk and tell stories for like an hour with very little input from my side. Idk. Maybe Wind or maybe Twilight. I could talk about animals just fine with the latter I think. But I don't have a super intense desire to have an actual conversation with either of them...

Maybe I could hunt down someone from medieval times and ask them why they had so much art of battling snails... What was the deal with the artistic war on snails.... Or talk to someone who lived in times of certain arts now lost to time. Like making certain pigments or fabrics or other things?

Boots x LU crossover! 😁

So I haven't written anything since I posted this bit here

But I was thinking the other day that it would be kinda fun if the group got to eventually meet some of the Horrors that Boots dealt with. Like, the Chain has come across monsters from other eras in eras they don't belong in, right? I hope to design at least two new monsters (not counting bosses, I just mean your basic monsters like Moblins and Chuchu and stuff), so it would be neat to be able to have some monsters only Boots would be familiar with, but I'd REALLY love to throw in some of Veskaris' specially cooked up monsters. Of which... I can't explain much of for the sake of spoilers, but I do know it would freak Boots out SO bad because?? Didn't those only exist because Veskaris specifically designed them? They're not normal monsters so how are they here? Is that guy not dead?

And I think the others would be pretty horrified by them too, which is fun uwu

Absolutely! This one's inspiration came loosely from this post

Except I wanted to shuffle ALL the boys!

Here's who winds up in whose body:

Hyrule > Warriors

Warriors > Wind

Wind > Time

Time > Sky

Sky > Wild

Wild > Hyrule

Four > Twilight

Twilight > Legend

Legend > Four

The group is pretty separated out when this swap occurs (there might be a group of two here or there, but that's all) so there's some chaos at first as everyone is trying to find each other in the first place. I'm particularly excited for Four in Twilight's body, because you know what could so easily accidentally happen? Touching that cursed demented pinecone of his. So when the group can't find Twilight's body, you know who they'll all be looking for? Wolfie. But Four doesn't take the form of Wolfie! I still haven't decided what he'll be yet, but someone suggested a chameleon and I do kinda dig that concept. Either way he's something small and hard to spot lol.

HAHAHA yeahhhhh.... Yeah 😔

Any of this is subject to change bcuz idk if I'm satisfied with it, but here's a snippet of what I've got written for that - actually, two snippets. One from the start of what I've got, and one from the last bit I've written so far! Because those are my two favorite parts.

It had always astonished Wind how easily Warriors always seemed to know when Wind was upset. It had even bugged him a little at first, when he'd just hoped no one would notice, only to immediately be approached by the captain.

It was amazing how Warriors had miraculously known the best way to comfort Wind. A lot of people tended to go for the, “It'll be okay” words when Wind got in a certain mood, which the sailor had always hated. “We'll get through this” or “I'm here” somehow always felt much nicer to his ears. Even better than that, a hug. As embarrassing as it sometimes was, nothing made him feel better than a good hug.

And then

Suddenly, when all Wind wanted was to be held tightly, to be told that he wasn't alone, that they'd get through it all together, all he got was an awkward pat on the shoulder and an, “It'll be okay.”

His big brother didn't know how to soothe him anymore.

LU 4sword stealing - Consequences of Stealing the Four Sword and Hyrule Fae Trickery

Four Sword Shenanigans first!

I have a big ol list made up of how I think (almost) everyone would split into four (I say almost bcuz some I don't feel like doing and don't plan on doing, and one of them... Well, let's just say they won't actually uhhh split into four) I will not be sharing what those personalities are, because I want them to be a surprise >:)

Now, Sky will actually be the first one (a mistake on his part, an accident, oops), but I've accidentally skipped ahead and wrote some of Legend's, so I'll drop a lil excerpt of that one... To at least reveal the colors he has. Feel free to guess on what each color represents, y'all! However, I will not be confirming anything uwu (under the cut since this is gonna be long with both pieces)

Instead of the smith, Legend's fingers closed around the handle of the smith's sword. It happened quickly, with Four still walking forward, the sword pulling from its sheath before Legend had a chance to let go.

Lights flashed and suddenly, there was four of him. One Legend, with soft pink hair, still seemed to be in the process of letting go of the sword in a panic, and it began to slip from his grasp. Another, hair white, let out a shout as he nearly threw himself off the bridge to catch it. The Legend with the darker, richer pink hair, practically magenta, barely managed to grab him by the tunic and yank him back. As the two stumbled back, they smacked into the fourth, a Legend with purple hair, whose back hit the other edge of the bridge, his own Four Sword tumbling from his grasp.

Now, for Hyrule Fae Trickery, it's basically me going, hey, what if his fae blood had a stronger influence on him and he leaned into that and the abilities that come with being a fae? The Chain meets him last, and he absolutely hides who he is because he doesn't trust them (yet). Here's an excerpt from that one.

Time studies the boy for a moment. His hazel eyes, bright from under the shaggy fluff of light brown hair, and cheeks smeared with dirt. Even holed up like he is, the man can tell the kid is scrawny. He glances at the green tunic, the sword clutched not quite entirely out of view behind his legs.

“I don't suppose your name is Link,” Time tries.

“I’m called Rulie,” he replies. “Are you looking for Link?”

“Ah, you know him?”

“Yes.”

“Would you take us to him?” Time asks.

“Us?”

“Yes, myself and the group I'm with.”

His eyes narrow. “Why? What do you want from him?”

“Nothing bad,” Time says quickly. “We’re looking for the hero to see if he'd like to help us with an important quest.”
