ughguhgughguhg kinda wanna write an alternate timeline AU fanfic where Misaki decides to NOT live with Usagi-san so he gets a place of his own and works all the time and goes to school and is too busy to really maintain a good connection to Usagi-san so Usagi-san starts going out of his way to see Misaki and more often than not, Usagi-san is over at Misaki's place (might also be hiding there from Aikawa lets be real) and its a bit more of a slow burn, more awkward interactions between the two as Usagi-san kind of lays it on thick and it goes a bit over Misaki's head.

Eventually they do actually decide to just live together (at Usagi-san's place) but ugh your boy ACHES for a slow burn of these two and I think with a slight adjustment to the canon, it can HAPPEN

So I got some really good feedback on my fanfiction that was from Usgai-san's perspective and a lot of encouragement and now I want to do another one!

Another page of my little "pining" series (gotta call it something).

Set in the 6 months where Usagi-san was tutoring Misaki, before they ever got together. This time I wanted to draw Misaki pining in his own way (and Usagi-san noticing his blush). I've decided to upload everything separately because I either work on these really quickly, or life happens and I work on it very slowly, so I'll just upload as I complete.

The Big Day

Summary: It's Takahiro's wedding day, and Misaki couldn't be happier for his older brother. But somethings on his mind, and when Usagi-san asks to speak with him privately about something, all Misaki can think about is one thing: the kiss they shared the night Takahiro broke Usagi-san's heart.

Preview:

Usagi-san finds him nursing a drink in his hands while watching the party from a doorway that no one else had seemed to be paying attention to. A small reprieve from everything. Misaki doesn’t notice him at first, he’s too busy staring down at the drink in his hands. But Usagi-san nudges him in the arm, pulling Misaki from his thoughts. His heart flutters at the sight of Usagi-san, a flutter he immediately scolds himself for having. 

“O-oh, hey.” Misaki says.

“Enjoying yourself?” Usagi-san asks. He isn’t looking at Misaki, he’s staring out at the dance floor, his eyes following the movements of the guests enjoying the reception. 

Misaki follows his gaze, watching the people out there, their bodies moving along with the music. Misaki should be out there with them, but he’s hiding here instead. “Yeah,” He says, “You?” God, what is wrong with him? He should know how to talk to Usagi-san by now. 

“A little.” Usagi-san says simply. Misaki notices the drink in Usagi-san’s hand. He watches as Usagi-san brings it to his lips and takes a small sip, he watches as Usagi-san’s adams apple bobs as he swallows. Misaki looks away. 

“How are you, um, I mean, with Takahiro?” Misaki asks awkwardly. 

Usagi-san chuckles. “I’m fine. Thank you.” He says, and Misaki nods, and then nods again. Usagi-san has finally turned his head to look at him and seems to be watching him. “Could I talk to you about something?” He asks suddenly, “Privately.”
