When looking into Thanet, which used to be an island i came across a article talking about how, according to Greek Mythology, Britain used to be the “home to the dead, and that the bodies were rowed across the sea in un-manned boats in the middle of the night and returned empty before dawn. This mysterious place was called "Ynys Thanatos" - the Isle of the Dead.”

Due to the theme of ‘Island Stories’ and living in Great Britain, i thought about how, even though its an island itself, it has many smaller islands inside it, some which don't really exist anymore as well.

statement of intent
I will responding to the theme of ‘Island Stories’ and producing a portfolio of at least six 8x10 prints, which demonstrate my skills in relation to analogue photography.
