EXCELLENT QUESTION, thank you for asking ♡♡ after my top ten fave Kirk outfits, here come my top ten fave Spock outfits!

10. errand of mercy. hello disney prince spock?? the dark blue tunic looks so cute. the tights are Good. the scarf!! but the best part of this outfit is the CAPE. was it necessary? no. did it make everything 1701% better? yes

9. plato’s stepchildren. idk how he does it but he manages to look elegant and dignified in this garish shiny green dress thingy. Good and Gay™

8. assignment earth. THE BEANIE. the coat and suit are cute but THE BEANIE! it looks so comfy! so fluffy! adorable! I want one!

7. mirror mirror. the goatee of evil. the glitter sash. i think we can all agree on this one. 

6. dress uniform. I LOSE MY MIND OVER THIS ONE. idk if it’s the collar, all the gold glittery stuff going on or the slightly softer blue that matches his eyeshadow? but it’s just SO GOOD. 

5. a piece of the action. always love myself a good suit. the pink/beige (?) shirt is *chef kisses*

4. the search for spock. uGH. no one should be allowed to look this amazing in a robe literally made out of towels. and yet once again spock defies the laws of logic and manages to look STUNNING i mean wow 

3. return of the archons. peak goth spock. look at him. a Legend

2. star trek: the original series (bonus: protective visor and IDIC necklace). ah, those science blues. Iconic. so inconic, in fact, that i now associate the color blue with spock. the visor and IDIC necklace make it even cooler! look at him! you wish you were him!

1. star trek: the motion picture. the ultimate spock look. jim didn’t stand a chance. elegant, a tiny bit on the goth side, the collar, the sleeves, the purple that matches his uniform, MY GOD...  talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before

10. plato’s stepchildren. the greek dress thingy: very revealing, very gay, truly the Boldest jim kirk outfit and I am so here for it 

9. the gamesters of triskelion. the bdsm outfit. do i really need to say anything about this? a picture is worth a thousand words

8. a private little war. it’s the leather thing wrapped around his arm that does it for me. he took the time to accessorize

7. a piece of the action. yes! I always love a good suit! bonus points because spock has a the same outfit in red

6. the tholian web. the synth pop aesthetic is strong here. love it

5. mirror mirror. the definition of sexy evil. ARMS. v neck. shiny glitter sash. everything about this is YES

4. green shirt/dress uniform. there’s nothing quite like a good Captainly Look

3. the city on the edge of forever/the final frontier. plaid!!! a cozy jacket!! peak lesbian fashion!!! the starfleet belt is a nice touch. can’t get enough of this look

2. star trek: the motion picture. the white short sleeved uniform that he changed into right after spock arrived. falls somewhere between thotty and serious. the plunging v neck!!! also the short-lived “bracelet” communicators make it even better

1. star trek: the original series. command gold. nothing beats command gold. it’s perfect in all its variations (the almost-crop-tops of season 1, the super tight-fitting ones in season 3, the boob window from amok time…)

Love this movie.  I confess I originally avoided it thinking it was going to rip Star Trek apart, but I can’t help but love it.  The fact that the geeky fans help save the day makes me smile every time. 

why don’t people ever talk about Galaxy Quest? it’s like my favourite movie aND EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH IT.
