Bird!Wind Archer Cookie Headcanons

-Wind Archer is more attuned with his bird traits than Fire Spirit is with his dragon traits, so he is aware of most of most of the things that will trigger his bird instincts. Still, he still tries to deny his way out of feeling anything for Fire Spirit

-Every once in a while, Fire Spirit will offer to preen his wings for Wind Archer if he is having trouble and, while preening wings isn't always romantic for birds, it's still incredibly intimate and is often done by bird mates, and is sometimes done as foreplay. Every time, Wind Archer is silently freaking the fuck out.

-Wind Archer often gives gifts like shiny things for food to Fire Spirit. Best part is that both dragons AND birds do this, so it's something that they both understand (except they're both stupid and try explainingto themselves how, "it doesn't mean anything"). Downside effect is them getting jealous when other cookies give them food. They can't really explain why their jealous, though, since it's difficult to explain, "It upsets me when anyone that isn't me or your family gives you food", so they both just kind of sit there like "🫠🫠🫠"

-Showing off. Wind Archer doesn't do those often since he's pretty quiet, but he'll occasionally show off to Fire Spirit

-Some male birds will build nests and take them to there to show their potential mates. Wind Archer builds nests for Fire Spirit often, so he's used to that aspect, but Fire Spirit comes to his nest sometimes to sleep. The first time Wind Archer did that, he was incredibly nervous and embarrassed, since that's his potential mate coming to his NEST, and if it's bad than everything goes down the drain (in his mind. Fire Spirit doesn't care if his nest is a bit messy). Luckily, Fire Spirit thought that Wind Archer sleeping in a nest was cute, and Wind Archer just said thanks, but internally, he was VERY relieved

-Sometimes, Wind Archer initiates preening by just playing with Fire Spirit's cape and sometimes hair (he can't play with it for too long without burning his finger)

-Birds will sing to attract mates. Wind Archer doesn't do it to Fire Spirit (can you IMAGINE him putting on a whole dance performance for Fire Spirit? Lol). I just see it as him inadvertently humming or whistling to himself when Fire Spirit is around

I hc that Wind Archer doesn't need to eat because he is wind but Fire Spirit does need to eat logs and stuff, and because Fire Spirit is isolated he tries to feed Wind Archer logs

I LOVE THIS KSJSKDJ I already imagined that Fire Spirit would need to eat things that help his flames grow, so imagine like, both of them sitting together and out of nowhere Fire Spirit just takes a bunch of coal and offers like it is the most normal thing ever while Wind Archer is just 🤨😨

Also I believe Wind Archer is really a cookie with jam and everything but it’s funnier to just imagine him as a balloon with dough instead of rubber, one little crack and 💨

OMG HI I LOVE YOUR FIREWIND HEADCANONS TOO (they were the reasons why I started hc fire spirit as a dragon)

I can totally see Blue Slushy being all over Wind Archer’s business, immediately recognizing that he was courting someone and being genuinely curious because she had never seen Wind Archer liking someone before. She will be asking about the nests and just teasing him “oh no, this nest you made was burnt! Who could do such a thing?” because of course she would be able to figure it out easily, while Windy is just dying from embarrassment while also trying to teach her a new bow technique. (I love them so much)

Also I love your art, just wanted to say that, thanks for gracing my eyes k bye 😘

hello i have come to request more dragon fire spirit headcanons please. specifically for immortal catayclism. thank you

Hello Anon, firstly sorry for the wait, I have been writing a super fluff fic with absolutely 0 angst trust. I went to search and learn more about dragons and spent a good while reading Immortal Cataclysm’s wiki just for you. And thanks to my research, I could find that dragons and Immortal Cataclysm share a lot of traits. (Also, sorry that this is kinda short, I’ll try to post more later promise)

- Dragons are loyal, but also determined. Immortal Cataclysm has a goal: set the entire world on fire, so he will do whatever it takes to achieve it, but there are some of his lines on game such as “WE need to set it all ablaze, and start from the very beginning.” or “Let’s watch the sea of flames TOGETHER!” that makes us believe he is saying this to someone else. While this could be for the player, I’m going to be delusional and say that this was for some certain green guardian, since IC also says “Trying to stop me?” and we know well that Wind Archer would do whatever he could to stop him from burning everything. (So let’s pretend he is saying this to the same person)

- I like to think that Fire Spirit just has a large pile of gold and treasures since dragons like gold. What makes me believe Fire Spirit also likes gold? Nothing, I just like the idea of him having a big pile, always adding some stuff to it and whenever someone comes to visit he would polish them to make them extra shine just to show off, especially when a certain someone comes to visit. (He is trying to attract his bird lover, leave him alone)

- Taking inspiration from my oomf on this one: Immortal Cataclysm would try to leave Dessert Paradise alone just because he doesn’t want to hurt Zephyr of life. I honestly like this headcanon very much but hear me out: Immortal Cataclysm just traps Zephyr in an obsidian box or something like that just so he doesn’t burn. I imagine that Immortal Cataclysm has a lot of power and possibly can’t control it really well (not that he is trying to control it anyway) so just to be safe, put the bird in a cage.

- Dragons usually fight bond with family or with their lovers, sometimes is just a way to pass time, but also can be a way to show strength towards their mate, so whoever is lucky to be with Fire Spirit (😉) will randomly see him flexing to show off his muscles or start a fight out of nowhere. Even if he wants to win, when he loses, which we know it happens more often than not, he will not get so mad compared to how he would be if he lost to anyone else just because he thinks it’s hot to have Wind Archer beat him.

- So dragons are protective and jealous of their stuff, home and mates, right? So whenever some random comes to the Dragon’s Valley uninvited, he will be extremely bothered, if anyone touches his treasures, he will almost burn the person, and if he sees Wind Archer talking to someone, he will just go and toss an arm around his shoulder or waist and just be there like a trophy wife, because even if doesn’t get jealous often, he just likes to make sure, and also is just an excuse to hold Wind Archer.

I love how Resplendent Wind Guardian and zephyr of life are just wind archer being gentler while fire spirit is the opposite. Bro just wants to burn everything and is power hungry.

OMG YES!!! And like, Immortal Cataclysm have some quotes saying how “WE need to set the world ablaze…” or “Let’s watch the sea of flames TOGETHER” and just imagine he is saying those things TO ZEPHYR while Zephyr is just depressed that he failed his mission to protect everyone.

And I think it’s so cool how Fire Spirit’s costumes and Wind Archer’ costumes are just a bunch of “discreet matching costumes” because they are just the opposite of each other in any way and I think this is beautiful.
