I always liked the anime illustrations in the original NES Zelda manual, and it saddened me to find out these weren’t actually part of a real animated promotion for the game. So I decided to take those illustrations and re-create them as if they were!

The thought of Warriors stepping through that portal for the first time in LU and IMMEDIATELY clocking who Wind and Time are sends me.

Like this man survived NOT ONLY the war of ages, but also those two meances, and he wasn't expecting to go through round 2 with them (even tho he is happy to see them).

Each time he sleeps and it's one of those two on watch, he expects something to catch fire. The other get it with Wind but Time? Why are you worrying over the old man setting something on fire?

Warriors could say how time acted when he was younger, but I feel like no one would believe him besides Wind, who was there but would not help him. Time is sitting in the corner sipping tea in the morning like this is the best television show he has ever seen.

this is why the "wind went through HW before LU" au/hc is my favorite cause the dynamic is SO FUNNY between those 3 then!

like wind whispering prank ideas to time and time making them happen without anyone seeing him and it works so perfectly for them cause no one EVER suspects time cause like, old responsible leader amiright

so wind comes up with hilarious pranks and time (as the good chaotic big little brother) goes along with the mischief

and wars knows, oh he knows what's going on, but he just stares in silence while trying not to mcfreaking lose it cause NO ONE would ever believe him if he told them the old man is the one who's been pranking everyone (under wind's guidance) for months
