how do i love thee? (sonnet 46)
how do I love thee? let me count the ways. i love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach, when feeling out of sight for the ends of being and ideal grace. i love thee to the level of every day’s most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. i love thee freely, as men strive for right. i love thee purely, as they turn from praise. i love thee with the passion put to use in my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith. i love thee with a love i seemed to lose with my lost saints. i love thee with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if god choose, i shall but love thee better after death.

dear 鹿晗,
the center of the universe is subjective. the world can revolve around a number of things: homes, families, stars, prized possessions, and secrets. my world revolves around you. the way your words make me feel is almost… indescribable.
your words ignite a spark within me; a warmth strikes me, sending butterflies to my stomach. my tongue is tied. you leave me speechless. fueled by endearing actions and playful banter, my mind swirls while trying to think of ways to impress you, to keep you interested in me. your lips and your touch leave me breathless, anticipating for more. a single thought of you brings a small, almost timid, smile to my lips. you bring to me a happiness i haven’t felt in a while.
i’d also like to take the time to apologize for my constantly late replies. i’m actually really bad at messaging and i think about it constantly. i’m trying to work at it, so please forgive me. he pouts as he gives you finger hearts.
happy valentine’s day, lu ge!
love, jongdae
