so annoying when zombie media doesn't call them zombies. ppl were calling that dude that did bath salts and bit someone a zombie and it was just one guy and you're telling me ppl would see hoards of undead cannibals and go "omgg these guys are crazy..they're like freakers or something.."

My biggest fear is sucking my own dick on top of a snowy mountain and losing my balance so I roll down it and turn into a huge snowball all the way to the base of the mountain then months later they find my body and it’s just a frozen skeleton self sucking.

There is something so funny about a hacker/disgruntled employee getting KI more publicity than any of their past attempts of advertising.

i hate you 6 episodes long seasons, i hate you shock value plot twists that don’t make an ounce of sense, i hate you incosistent characterizations, i hate you inexistent character dynamics, i hate you shallow and rushed plots, i hate you bidimensional protagonists. i love you diversified and well explored storylines, i love you valued characterization, i love you world building, i love you actions/consequences dichotomy, i love you engaging relationships that aren’t exclusively romantic.

i think a huge problem about the way that we frame how apps like tiktok and their respective communities have impacted the internet culture is that we are limiting it to a “teens problem” and are forgetting that a large chunk of tiktok creators and consumers are themselves adults. The nurses filming patients, many of the people running scams, many of the people pathologising everyday behaviours or advocating for botox in your 20’s or whatever the hell is going on in that app are NOT teens. They are adults.
To frame tiktok as a teens only problem both does Gen-Alpha a disservice but also masks the issue of fully grown adults dissolving their critical thinking skills online by thinking they are above having their psyches smooshed around in the pear wiggler just because their frontal lobes’ toasters are done dinging.
—
edit: some people are disagreeing with my use of the word gen-alpha which is valid, but the common start of gen Z is around 1997 and they are straight up adults having kids right now soooo

If you live completely alone here’s your friendly reminder to step outside for a bit before the worse part of the existential dread starts to set in again.
You know the one. The layer underneath the regular existential dread that you only get to access if you don’t leave your apartment for three days.
Go to a coffee shop or walk your dog or something.
