have you seen the new Jason comic that's coming out on September? 💀 because I have OPINIONS and it's crazy how both Jason and specially Helena fans are becoming suicidal over this (and they're right)

I'm very much of the 'ehhhh' (⊙_⊙;) opinion. Sounds like people are pretty mixed about the writer, and my only experience with Huntress was reading Birds of Prey many years ago. So I'm not educated enough to really have an opinion about the clear pushing of a romantic relationship between her and Jason....

Helena's costume though? Diabolical. It's fucking 2025, do we need to be stripping down a character who has historically been pretty modestly dressed? And in PINK? WHERE IS HER PURPLE GOD DAMMIT.

The whole 'hunting a cop killer' thing is just... well, from what it sounds, it's a big 'ick' (definitely for JASON). But also the writer has historically been ACAB, so I imagine they'll be going somewhere there that's not just copaganda... If it were me, I'd:

a) have Jason hunting down the cop killer because the cops are using it as an excuse to terrorise civilians and he just wants to put a fucking stop to it, and

b) make the actual cop killer a cop themselves. Maybe even they're doing it BECAUSE they want an excuse for the cops to militarise further against the city...

But frankly, my biggest stickler is the re-design. I'm all for the return of the leather jacket, but y'all, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!

Update on the costume making: someone please release me from the sweet relief of death.

Feel like I should have given a warning about suddenly dropping out of the loop of literally anything. My friend is directing a period comedy and I roped myself (willingly) into helping with costuming. Legit every day this week I've been sewing.

No time for writing or editing or even replying to comments 😭 Death (the showing of the play) be upon me soon (mid this week) ☠️☠️☠️

Can safely say, don't expect an update of ECM until next weekend at the earliest.

Hi just curious if you have plans with the Super family?

Like does we have a chance to see Peter knows about the Super and bats relationship in each member?

I didn't really know if all bats members are pair with one but from the " Peter in Gotham" Fics most of them from what I accounter have a saying that " Oh, Jason finally have a meta partner! Unlike us who have supers partners for a long time!"

I know about the Supersons the paring of Damian and John, such as the Duo who that brings me to the DC fandom but also the only thing know about DC. The others are like watching what the fic to get the bits and pieces of what happened in the cannon events. ( Like the story that Jason have just shocks me when I pictured all of them. )

Also the frist time in fact starting to get to know more about Jason is through your Fics. The small stuff like Dog, the fact that the scars that I belive he have after getting open up after his dead (forgive me I have forget about what the process was called to open up a cropse) just a HC in the fandom.

Forgive me ramble all of this just write anything just come to mind.

So if we're going with the 'Bats have supers' trope, Bizzarro served that function for Jason in the RHATO (rebirth) comics. Though he doesn't act/speak in complete opposites like the traditional Bizzarro because something something he's a clone (it's not actually explained why... but also, if the OG Bizzarro does speak like Biz, then my retort is... nuh-uh). I really enjoyed his character, especially with Jason, and there were plans to have him appear at some point, but not sure if it'll fit based on how the plot's developed... we'll see.

I don't have significant plans for any Supers to appear any time soon: the cast is big enough with just the Bats honestly. That isn't to say that I won't be adding characters from outside of Gotham though!!

Hi, I have a silly question, it's about ECM, and by the way, I hope you're enjoying writing it as much as we are reading it jejej

Since there are many differences between Earth 1 and Earth G, as well as similarities, will the music Peter used to listen to be one of those similarities or will Bitsy have to listen to this 'new music'?

Considering that not only did I travel to another dimension, I also in a way went to the past and several of the things that exist do not do so or do not do so yet.

In my books, no question is silly about ECM. And yes, I delight in writing ECM (though there are definitely parts that are a slog to get through!).

I think there are certain bands and songs that have transcended universes, but yeah, there'd definitely be a difference between the music, much to Peter's distress (he's glad he could save some of the music from his phone!).

Just thinking of certain songs or artistic movements having been altered by the presence or absence of certain events... I imagine there are certain songs that were written either during or after the Blip that Peter LOVES, and of course they'd definitely not exist in Earth G.

Peter definitely feels himself going a little bit (more) insane every time he says or expects something, only for it to not exist in Earth G.
