This card fought me every step of the way, i even had to start over completely lol!

Gotta give The Batter credit. Not many people would paddle through a river of meat or jump down a 100ft smoke stack just because someone told them to. 

Come to think of it, a lot of the stuff I had him do in the game wouldn’t make sense to him unless he was seeing things from my POV. I guess that’s why he needed a player.

This turned out lovely! I'm sorry that the light slot didnt work for you 😓. I think this is a very pretty card regardless! I hope your brother likes it! 💕

It didn't work out with my first attempt either (deino). I think our shadow boxes just need to be super thick for a light slot to work. See how thick I had to make the Natu vs a card that was as thick as the Deino card?

This was a card for my brother. I attempted to use a technique I saw by a user named @lucid-daydreamer by leaving slots up top, and allowing light to come in. It did not have the same impact is it did on their work 😕

I used a holographic card for the border for this one, and I think it turned out well. It's so shiny that i can't stop looking at it! 🤩 (It attracts dust like crazy now, though 😆)

It's shinx ! ⚡️ ⚡️ ⚡️ I decided to use my glow paints again for this one. Subtle but cool imo 😎 I like when lightning pokemon are a color other than yellow, we need more of those.

To imitate the lighting in the original artwork, i kept the top open so that it can let light in.

Lately I've been showing my cards at my flea market booth, and they've been selling well. I even have a few repeat customers! The positive feedback has me excited to make more!

They also make water color pencils, so im going to try those next and see how they do! I'll let ya know if i figure out a good symmetry technique 😄
