i think we as a fandom genuinely forget how kevin and andrew are literally like best friends. like andrew went with kevin to california. at the start of tfc everyone describes them as literally joined at the hip. if andreil ever got married KEVIN WOULD LITERALLY BE ANDREW'S BEST MAN. kevin will call andrew in the future when they're all graduated because he knows andrew will pick up. they had a single carry-on between them in tgr. they probably stayed in the same hotel room. they fight like an old married couple throughout the og trilogy constantly. kevin knows how to rile andrew up and to calm him down. nora can pry kandrew (romantic and platonic) from my cold dead fucking hands.

hey you ever think about how the foxes wouldn't have won finals without neil and kevin wouldn't have survived it and he probably knew that but he still told neil to run
#prev ->#neil interprets it as kevin being horrified at his identity and his life until now#i always took it as kevin. you know. caring about his friend#Yeah it never even crossed my mind that Kevin would've been horrified rather than just deeply scared and concerned for neil#especially when you contextualize it with what we learn about the depth of his relationship with jean in tsc#like i've always thought it was kevin going: oh fuck there's another one#kevin thought it was only Jean and himself who were damned by the moriyamas but now has to contend with Neil being there with them#also I wonder how much guilt he was experiencing#like this is the same Kevin that made Jean promise not to kill himself#and the same Kevin that left Jean in the nest to deal with riko and the moriyamas alone#how much of Kevin's internal dialogue is thinking about the fact that he was the one to recruit Neil#he is the reason Neil is even in the position to be recognized at all#especially with the revelation of Neil's identity occurring along with the demand that he spend the holidays in the nest with riko#Kevin was the one to recruit Neil and now he has to leave him in the nest alone#Kevin was the one who forced Jean to stay alive and then he left him in the nest alone#survivals guilt times 100#also like let us not forget that Kevin saw Neil's daddy straight up cut a man to shreds when he was a pre teen#so i'm sure that doesn't help
