I have a Mobian OC that gets adopted by Stobotnik in the movies universe (I'm currently writing a fic about them called Tale Of An Unlucky Rabbit on AO3, Wattpad and Tumblr if you wanna check it out) and I would love to see you draw them. If not, that's ok, just thought I would at least ask. Their name is Lucky and I have a whole host of AUs in mind for them and their dads that I wanna write in the future. Their fur used to be orange but I recently changed it to green bc it fits them better imo but I haven't gotten around to posting their redesign yet. This is their Sonic 3 design! Lucky hates Sonic btw and they think him and the whole Wachowski family are annoying (including Knuckles and Tails). They were tested on pretty heavily by GUN for a few months before the first movie and found out they have a tech-based power set. They can make themself invisible in cameras, and if they close their eyes and concentrate, they can see what a nearby cameras sees and can even see the camera's recent history of they wanted to. They hurt their ankle pretty bad (and permanently screwed it up by not resting it and hiding their injury for weeks) in between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and now they need a mobility aide to get around. They became a streamer like Ivo (Lucky does gaming streams) while they were recovering their ankle as best they could (Stone made Lucky bedridden bc he didn't want them to mess up their ankle worse). They use the username Lucky_Huevo (Ivo set up the account for them) and they pretend to be using a VTuber model during streams. Sorry for the infodumping but I wanted to share my OC with you if that's ok :P

It's not the best drawing but I haven't really drawn much since middle school (I'm a high school graduate and have been out of school for a year) and I'm finally drawing again and trying to figure out my art style.

a feel like the new generation of fanfic readers NEED to understand that clicking on a fic (interaction) does nothing. ao3 has no algorithm. your private discord discussions of fic do not reach the authors. if you do not actively engage with writers they will stop posting. this isn’t social media this is community.

Because someone out there wants to read exactly what you wrote and you will MAKE. THEIR. DAY. Whether or not you get a hundred kudos, that one person will experience the crazy, fic-induced euphoria that YOU KNOW leaves you grinning like an idiotic nerd for hours, and isn't that great that YOU can do that?

At some point "fanfic can be as good as professional writing" became "fanfic should be as good as professional writing" and that's caused major damage to fandom spaces.
