your f/o would immediately be able to spot their own mischaracterization in doubles’ selfships. they take one glance at art of them with another person that exists for some godforsaken reason and immediately go “i’d never do that/act that way”. they look at you — the person they’ve always loved and the only one for them, ever — and then back at the double’s s/i, which could literally not be further from their type (yes, even if your s/i and the double’s are similar; the idea of being with anyone who’s even in the slightest way different than you disgusts them), and snicker. It’s almost laughable.
