It's so frustrating having parents that are way better than other parents in some ways but still having a mentally ill mom who has a hard time taking care of you or just says she wants to kill herself when she's angry to your dad while screaming and who makes you feel bad a lot of the time and also parents that just argue all the time and hate each other but refuse to get divorced
#like I'm probably so spoiled they do so much for me and I barely have to do anything#except listen to them when they ask me a favor or comfort my mom and look after our pets and stuff like that#but for some reason I have been distancing from my mom#I feel like I just hear my parents argue all the time and hear them say all of these terrible things and it makes me not want to see them#and my mom is always upset#I've like never seen her happy#ever#I see others say mentally ill parents made them more empathetic#for some reason it makes me scared to approach people when they're super upset I don't know what to do with it#girlblogging
