Been working on a small project for some time that restores some scenes that were cut from the english dub of the "Mom Loves Me After All" episode of Hello kitty and Friends. It's nothing too fancy or professional, but I felt the english episode deserve to be seen in a somewhat better light even if some things are off, especially in the audio department.

The reason I did the video at two different resolutions is in case the higher-resolution one would be preferred for upload on youtube, even though I admit the visual details in that one aren't exactly crystal clear.

I don't mind the video(s) being posted elsewhere like Youtube or such. You may mention my name if the video(s) are uploaded on other places, but it's not required or anything, even if I do appreciate it. If somebody would try make a better attempt at restoring the scenes, I'd say go ahead. i won't mind.

I advise to those interested to download the videos as soon as possible, because I'm not sure for how long they're gonna remain available, and I certainly am taking a risk by doing this. If ever I get a notice to take them down, then I'll do so. But hopefully nothing bad should arise.

I apologize for the quality of the clips, but this was as good as I could make it, and due to differences in audio mixing between the dubs sound effects that were quiet at one point may suddenly become louder. Even so, I'm fully aware that a full and flawless restoration may be near impossible, and the work I did is only as good as I could make it. It's also probably the only one I'm ever going to make.

Attempting to do a minor graphics mod of Hello Kitty no beads Koubou(Hello Kitty Puzzle Collection) that gives Kitty a mouth, to bring the game more in line with the Hello Kitty and Friends OVAs.

Only thing I managed to do so far is the story cutscenes. The rest of the game's graphics appear to be compressed, so unless work on decompressing/re-compressing graphics in TOSE-developed games have been made, I think this is as far as I'm gonna get.

Anyway, this is a thing I'm doing only for fun, and isn't part of anything big. The discoveries regarding ROM offsets I'll be making I think is going to be quite handy to keep though.

Even if her sister were to be shrunk all of a sudden, Mimmy wouldn't be the one to leave Kitty on her bedside all by herself, so she instead lets Kitty sleep with her.

Saw a japanese-inspired clothing in a museum in gothenburg(a city in the country where I live) yesterday. Not just any, but a blue one that had a Hello Kitty motif on it. I didn't take a picture of it, but it still somehow made my day when I saw it.

What finally got my interest in it started was because of one japan-exclusive game for the Game Boy Color, Hello Kitty to Dear Daniel no Dream Adventure. You can once again hold The Cutting Room Floor site responsible for this.

The first thing I started to do after briefly playing that game was to make a giantess-related drawing of Kitty White. Over time my own curiosity led me to start watching at least one episode of Hello Kitty and Friends Supercute Adventures, which in turn led me to discover about the OVA from 1989-1998, and liking it better.

It's a shame that some key scenes were cut from the english dub for time reasons, because without them some scene transitions are so sudden and some story context is lost. IMO the OVA should get a english redub, or at least a restoration with the missing scenes from the japanese version.

I must be looking strange to some people for suddenly liking Hello Kitty. Right now it's mainly the Hello Kitty and Friends OVA because of some of the episodes, like Mom Loves Me After All and The Wonderful Sisters.

Apologize for just dropping off of this place. A lot of things have been going in my life that I rather not wanna mention.

It's been almost two years since I left twitter/X, and to be honest I don't really miss that place at all. No idea if my account's still up on there. It probably is and I just don't have any clue.

In any case, I'm glad I left that platform when I did, what with all the stuff going on regarding users being forced to let their posts be trained by their so-called "AI service" that I won't mention by name. Really shows that in the wrong hands, AI tools can be used for the most ridiculous and awful things.
