Hey, uh, stupid question, but how do you feel about PrimeFan? (Or the Prime Shimmer in general)

Hi there :D

Ive pretty much never heard or seen PrimeFan, but I always in a way saw the king(?) Prime Shimmer as like a guardian or even protector of sorts to watch over Fan and Test tube after s2e14, so i never really thought to see them in a shipping sense nor do in my personal opinion can see them as such. That is not to say that i dislike it or anything like that, because generally (with a rare exception for a few ii ships) I dont have an opinion on any ii ships nor do I really engage in the shipping side of things anymore.

In general I LOVE the whole addition of the light shimmer species because it could add SO MUCH to the ii series and inverse universe and I really hope that they could even have some relavency in season 4!

Okay honestly it didn't hit me how funny the concept of Weird Al's Even Worse album is until I found out they'd have gone on sale side by side.

I hate to make a post about politics and make people who just want to have fun worry more than they already are; and the admins have the right to not post this if they don’t want to.

But August, 13th is vastly approaching and with it bringing the YouTube AI age verification. This will affect a large number of fandom and neurodivergent folks and will absolutely do damage to the OSC as a whole.

Not only is the OSC home to many creators that are minors but I can absolutely see II and BFDI being tagged as kids content due to both being animated and interpreted by AI as being aimed at a younger audience. This means potentially watching episodes or being subscribed to their channels will cause the AI to ID you as a minor and block you from watching other content until you upload your ID or other information to Google (which i hope no one sees as a good thing).

It’s not just the OSC though, i believe many many other Indy animations will be targeted and marketed for being made for children.

This also includes the Screen act and Kosa. Both of which are trying to pass in the US.

Right now there is an in-browser website called glomble.com where BFDI seems to be reuploading their old content to (though it might be someone else). The site has some issues like not have a large amount of content and being slow but for now it’s seems like the best alternative to YouTube. I recommend giving it a try and maybe if the BFDIReuploder can get more traction we could get II and other OSC creators to upload there too! Don’t lose hope! and remember to go dark on the 13th until YouTube takes it down.
