Emergency: Keep Me Housed

I still haven't been able to find a job due to disability and transportation issues. My roommate (who owns the house) had bottom surgery in February and still isn't back to work either. She was supposed to be receiving short term disability/medical leave pay from her job, but that apparently stopped coming in. She has been very nice and not asked me for any rent the past couple months, but is now demanding that I pay her $500 by June to keep living here. I have nowhere else to go, and losing this place would be a death sentence for me.

If you can help or share this post, it would be immensely appreciated. I'm still job hunting obviously, but this is currently the only way to keep me alive.
