6 - some painting exploration w three of my ocs. very rarely does color click for me, and it definitely did when i was painting this

juna pre heartbreak really feels like a distant memory omg he's not yet suicidal and kinda happy??? not soft but raw and mostly codependent with ortega and themmy. ALIVE. cocky. assured. he's openly a romantic and he's more reckless too.

Some things never changed though, he's still very opinionated, still thinks he could make a difference. still thinks the government is shit

sidestep!juna was kinda like if prince naveen, young silco and flynn rider had a baby???

more tidbits:

he used to have long hair but then he shaved it all off post Heartbreak and never let it grow past buzzcut anymore.

his puppet, Salim, has shoulder length hair, though and Juna takes care of him thoroughly. there's a metaphor here about only being able to confront your deep seated desire when you're in the body of someone else

ANYWAY YEAH HE KINDA LOOKED LIKE A LESBIAN.... actually kept thinking about pre-Heartbreak juna often got mistaken as a girl and got hit on by lesbians not knowing he's just. a guy. even ortega might think he was a girl when they first met
