🎨 You don't need cutting-edge tools or a high-end machine to create meaningful art. This pixel art landscape was created entirely in MS Paint, the same simple program that comes pre-installed on Windows. I use it for most of my background artworks because it helps me focus purely on composition, color, and detail without overcomplicating the process. Even my PC is a humble, older machine. Yet despite the limitations, my work has been featured in major galleries and on screens around the world. For animation, I use other tools (mainly because MS Paint doesn’t support animation), but I still apply old-school onion skinning techniques to keep the creative process simple and hands-on. The takeaway? You don’t need fancy software or powerful hardware to make something beautiful. Creativity finds a way.

Apparently, according to Wally/Neci, Neci made a deal with Wally since she was already on her last ropes due to being infected by the Infestation along with taking in some sort of poison to help stave off the transformation.

With this in mind, I'm hoping that she's okay, but it's still unclear whether Wally/Neci is possessing the actual Neci or if It's using a Neci doppelganger and her real body is somewhere in Hollvania. I wanna believe that it's the latter.

This lore is quite tasty, tho. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes next.

(Unrelated but the KIM messages have been great thus far. I won't say too much in the event I give spoilers for a message someone hasn't seen yet.

It makes me sad we only get 10 new ones because you can burn through them pretty quick, especially if they end up being on the shorter side. I NEED MOAAAR.

Maybe I haven't seen the messages yet but...I wanna be more lovey dovey with Arthur lol I'm in hope I'll get something cute later down the line.)

Wally is PISSED bro

I think I'm realizing that Albrecht didn't just have a really bad encounter with the Void and Wally and dipped out of there.

Wally/Neci was talking about how Albrecht would just take from it and I think It's just fed up with being used. Considering that Albrecht pioneered Void travel and Void usage...he clearly had to cut off more than just a single finger to make that happen.

Actually if you go through the big door in the Isleweaver map and you look up, you can see a large finger caught in webbing.

I think Wally could have found humanity curious at one point but due to its negative interactions with Albrecht, maybe it grew to become "Indifferent," to mankind as a whole.

It's quite possible that once Wally started retaliating against Albrecht that Albrecht started to understand the real danger of what he got himself into and is now looking to put the genie back in the proverbial lamp.

I could be wrong. I'm not sure how things with the story are going in full with the new Isleweaver lore but it's very interesting so far.

I gotta try and get all the lore. I probably just need to curate a lobby of lore focused Tenno who wanna find the secrets with me.

Bro Jade is so cool and I love her a lot.

Her strength and willingness to sacrifice herself for her child.

Her desire to protect the minds and hearts of the Zariman children that she would encounter whenever they would use transference to pilot her.

Her willingness to defend and protect her man from the same Zariman children she sought to protect, during the Old War, even when he didn't remember her.

Outliving Ballas and being able to give birth to the child that she was told that she would never have.

I love this and Mama Lotus so much. She definitely needs all the hugs.

"This isn't just a bad memory, is it?"

You know how when kids get nightmares, sometimes they go to their parents' room to sleep in their bed for the night?

Think about the reverse with the Lotus. Who goes to visit her Tenno in their Orbiter when she's not feeling great. The Operator coming home to the Orbiter only for Ordis to quietly tell them the Lotus is sitting in their personal quarters.

Lotus holding on to one of their floofs while she waits. Letting herself absorb the sight of their neatly arranged noggles on the shelves. The colours and patterns on the walls. The haphazardly placed posters and trinkets littered throughout the child's room. Watching only with a hollow gaze when the Operator walks in.

"Lotus?" they'd ask worriedly. "Are you alright?"

She doesn't answer; she just watches.

She doesn't move. She doesn't let go of the floof.

Even when the Operator approaches her and wraps her in a big, warm hug... She remains. She is distant. She isn't really here.

But the Operator can feel her shivering. They can feel her body temperature dipping into dangerous levels of cold.

So they stay with her. They try to warm her up. They bring her a hot flask for her to hold. They drape her in blankets and huddle close to her. They talk about their day and the people they've been helping. They crack jokes and talk to her like how friends do. Even Ordis chimes in; even his usual levity takes a soothing edge.

The lights in the room start to dim. And the Lotus' body temperature is gradually returning to normal.

She still hasn't moved. She's still holding the floof.

But the Operator can hear her breathe again. They can see the subtle droop of her head. They can feel the whispers of warmth returning to her Sentient body.

So the Lotus is left to slumber. And her Tenno chooses to stay.

Warframe Ramblings: Another 1999 Edition

Spoilers: The Duviri Paradox, Waframe 1999, Komei & The Five Fates

Imagine Aoi seeing Komei for the first time.

She's Japanese herself, so I'm sure it would be jarring yet incredible to see how aspects of her culture were able to transcend into Drifter's time, even down to the traditional aspects of the Tenno.

Aoi's mentioned how she'd like to be able to reconnect with her family, and I would imagine that being around Drifter and seeing Komei would fuel that desire even the more so.

I could totally see her teaching Drifter Japanese.

(Aoi would specifically tell my Drifter to tell Arthur "Aishiteru," with no added context. She'd go with it and say it to him and Arthur would be shook for a sec because of course he knows what it means. He'd simply chuckle, and say, "I love you too." and my Drifter would be in absolute shambles trying not to die from embarrassment. Aoi would then proceed to check that interaction off as a mission complete.)

On another note, I made a separate post about this, but I'm going more in depth here. Drifter has a way of making their Somacord tunes portable, and one day they decide to grab the AUX and starts playing Waverider.

I think everyone would be somewhat stunned that such high quality bangers exist in the future. They would all then be curuios to hear more of the music that exists in Drifter's time, while Aoi and Nova sink deep and become totally obsessed and have it on repeat all the time and go as far as choreographing a fun little dance to do when the chorus hits. Arthur lowkey thinks it slaps for a pop song, and will mouth the lyrics when he thinks no one's looking. (Amir totally catches him and swears he won't tell anyone, so it remains their little secret.) (I know Amir looks up to Quincy as his big bro figure, but Arthur is the definitive big bro to Amir, and you can't change my mind.)

My last random thought. Drifter trained under Teshin, and we all know how cool Teshin is, thus making Drifter an absolute unit when it comes to combat.

Imagine how powerful they are when they're able to fight like a Dax AND use their void powers.

Everyone Scaldra in Hollvania should be quaking in fear, if not for the Protos, then because of Drifter. Warframes aside, as themselves, they could go invisible and kill them in an instant, and they wouldn't even see it coming.

The moment, they see void energy starting to pool around Drifter's eyes while brightly emanating that blueish white energy. It's ggs.
