wow i love overthinking because in order to get me to stop, i just start thinking of ways that lighter could reassure me. this is very much unhealthy but i just. idk.

lately my mind has been conjuring up scenes of lighter being VERY clingy and touchy. i think especially now that in the story, we’re going to waifei peninsula.

the moment you’re back, he’s all over you. but like, nonchalantly y’know. he can’t make it too obvious that he’s missed you.

oh but you can tell by the way he holds your hand. he’s desperate to feel your skin, clumsily tugging off his gloves before intertwining his fingers with yours. he seriously wished that you weren’t so loved by all because now he has to wait for you to tell everyone about your trip. he doesn’t rush you to get it over with though, instead his eyes roam across your face. your lips curved up to a smile, your eyes crinkling, your hand animating out your words. it’s an absolute treat to watch you be so excited, one of the many observations he makes.

when he finally has you all to himself though, he’d immediately bury his face in the crook of your neck. the scent of you, your warmth, all so familiar to him and all that he had craved for since the first day you left for waifei peninsula. his dark teal hair brushing against your neck as all you could hear was his heavy breathing. after a moment or two of silence, he finally speaks. his deep muffled mumbling were barely coherent but you can tell by the way he’s wrapping his arms around your waist that all he wants to do is spend the rest of the night like this. actions speak louder than words, and all he wanted to do was show you how much his heart had yearned for you.

my gf showed me some of komano manato’s dialogues and him being not so good with kids is like the opposite to lighter who seems to make kids, animals and bangboos become fond of him very easily…………….

i got to hear a bit of komano monato’s voice and dialogue (without playing the story yet so idk the context) and i desperately need him and lighter to meet. whatever he said reminds me of lighter telling us about settlement days in the outer ring.

too lighterpilled but still somewhat interested in the new man…………

i’m sure most have seen leaks of the new man komano monato and i think i’m going to wait a while to see if i like him enough to write for him.

rest assured, i am still very much into lighter and have occasional ideas for harumasa. other male charas will not be written for as i’m not too knowledgeable of their backstory/character enough.

i feel as though lighter slowly integrates your products into his routine. something about smelling something like you really calms him down.

it starts small, just asking if he could also use your body soap. it’s not too overpowering, gives a good feeling of cleanliness to him. due to this, he’d also opt to using a more milder cologne. something that doesn’t smother him in a very musky, manly scent but rather a whiff of it right at the end.

then, he’d move on to the same laundry detergent. taking note of what brand and fragrance you’d buy when you’re restocking for your place. those nights when he can’t stay with you, he’s hugging a pillow tight. the soft scent of the detergent you use clouding his busy mind, but something felt off. he’ll figure it out tomorrow at your place, for now he just needed the sleep.

after much courage, he’d ask you to style his hair. an excuse to have your fingers run through it, but also to know what products that kept your hair looking so shiny and nice. he’d sit on the floor, eyes closed with his lips turning up in bliss, as you’d twist and fluff up his hair with the creams and oils you’d use.

he thinks you haven’t caught on. the girls clearly know what he’s doing. it’s plain as day that he just wants to be reminded of you even when you’re away. it’s a little off putting to them when they think you’ve come over but its just. lighter. his bedsheets, his jackets, and especially his scarf. even without you, he can clearly see your smile when he buries his nose in his scarf. he just smells like you, every part of him.

i saw a tweet about zzz charas disabilities and i’d like to talk about my fav fact with lighter is that the arm he injured severely during his time as a mercenary leader is also the same one that uses his gauntlet. despite him saying that one is more than enough, i’d like to believe that his right hand is slightly weaker than his left when not using the gauntlet.

wine drunk so I'm thinking about stumbling home to lighter after drinking w friends and he's trying so hard to get you changed into pjs and your teeth brushed and into bed but it keeps getting derailed bc you can't stop talking abt how much you love him and kissing him all over his silly face

lighter sometimes believes its boring to hang around him. aside from the occasional bike rides and watching him fight, it’s quite common for you two to just meet at a certain spot and talk while catching the breeze together.

it’s not something he’d say out loud to you. he fidgets with his hands, tug on his scarf, play with his sunglasses, little signs that show his increasing worry that you’re getting bored of this. bored of him.

let’s be honest. who brings their significant other to the port just to buy fries and feed the seagulls?? it’s already part of his routine but bringing you along had him feel a little more embarrassed as he hesitantly ate a fry. he watched you wait for a seagulls to land on your shoulder, holding out your fries to them as an offering. it was a first for you and you didn’t seem uncomfortable with the idea.

the seagulls had all flocked over to lighter, maybe it was true that he made some sort of secret promise so they recognized him. the sun began to set and the fries were getting soggy. behind those sunglasses, he was genuinely panicking as to whether this was even a good idea in the first place.

“guess they like you more than me,” you joked as you both munched on the fries. the oiliness coated his tongue, leaving an unpleasant taste in his mouth. maybe he could fix it somehow with a movie or late night star gazing or-

“it’s fun. as long as i’m with you.” his head turned over to you, a little stunned at your words. were you some sort of mind reader? was he thinking out loud? was his expression really that expressive because he could’ve sworn that he was trying his best to be cool and nonchalant. you took his hand in yours, the leather glove feeling a little too tight now around his fingers.

maybe you were right. other couples might not find feeding seagulls fun but as long as he was with you. as long as you were together, it wouldn’t be so boring and mundane after all.

i have to be on a bit of a hiatus cuz i’m going through a really busy moment in life with graduation + moving happening around the corner. i am so sorry to everyone for the lack of posts, i really wished i could have some back up but i can’t find the time to write T_T

day was so rough, i went back and reread some fics that changed me as a person. i hope to be able to write something that shakes my whole world so badly to the point that i need to imitate death in the form of sleep.

lighter loves getting massages from you. they’re not top quality like those massage parlors but they’re comforting, not as painful too. the simple shoulder massage that has him closing his eyes, feeling your touch on his skin. soft grunts and groans leave his body as his aching muscles also lose their tension from before.

he especially likes it when your hands slowly go up his neck and to his scalp. his brain shuts off as your fingers tangle through his dark teal locks and focus on giving him scalp massages. even after you’re done, he’s just stuck there for a moment. his body relishing in all of the pressure that had been released from his body, all because of your hands. maybe next time you should consider washing his hair while giving him a scalp massage….
