With a satisfied smirk, Morticia takes the eyeliner.
"Okay, turn to me and look straight forward..."
She had always had a passion for eyeliner, that should be quite easy.
“Halloween at last!” for Morticia, from @mysteriousmissweems
"At last!"
The young girl replies with a wide smile as she brushes her long hair in front of a mirror.
"We're gonna have the time of our lives at the party tonight, Larissa."

"Indeed..." Morticia laughs slightly. The natural flow of the conversation would be to ask about her guests' lives, but considering that asking about those two romantic life may be... tricky, to say the least, she decides to focus on something else.
"Oh! There's also wonderful news... Cleopatra is having children."
The carnivorous plant had never given her seeds. Having a personality of her own, Morticia always wondered if she simply did not want to. But now, after so long, she finally seemed to be popping them off. It was wonderful.
******************************************************************** Rio's fingers curve against the floor as Agatha's voice goes to its lower register and she almost clears her throat. Damn this woman for having this much of an effect on her.
But when Agatha looks at her, considering the nature of the subject, she bites her lower lip and is unable to hold that glance for long. Luckily, Morticia changes the subject and to something that is, perhaps, one of the easiest thing she could ever talk about. Plants are a safe subject and one she's always willing to talk about. As a matter of fact, she leans forward, anxiety still within her, but there's also excitement now.
"Oh! It took her long enough! How many seeds?!"
Cleopatra is wonderful. One of Rio's best creations and one she had made for Morticia and her family exclusively. She had given her the ability to reproduce by herself, but the plant did have a personality of its own.
The way Rio's presence alone seems to affect Agatha is not missed by Morticia, but she doesn't really say anything, instead just staring for a moment.
Morticia chuckles, a smug expression on her face. And quickly, she giggles at Agatha's question.
"Someone we all know too well..." She looks at the window for a moment, it's a night of full moon and it shines beautifully. Perhaps she would invite her guests for some moon bathing later, actually, it sounded like a great idea.
"The Moon..."
//
Rio feels Agatha's presence as much as she feels hers, that's undeniable. Listening to her voice as she speaks to Tish is enough to make her wanna get closer and lay her head on Agatha's lap and purr like a cat.
But instead she hugs her own legs, repositioning herself and chuckles at Morticia's words, frowning curiously. "How does that work?"

I miss you, my love.
How long had she been waiting to hear those words? To hear Agatha actually admitting that she missed Rio? To call her my love again?
The very last time was when she pleaded for Nicky's life, when Death had no other choice, for she could not go against Nature and her sacred duty.
And yet she found a way to bend the rules. Only for her. Rules that had been written way before Agatha had ever existed, rules that had never been bent for anyone else.
"I took him... Because I had to. I didn't have a choice."
She swallowed, hard and dry.
"Can't you understand that?"
Her body shakes. It's almost unnatural to her. She doesn't feel cold, she barely gets goosebumps, yet the turmoil of emotion that spreads from her black heart - the heart that beats only for the woman in front of her - makes her shiver.
She takes Agatha's hand softly, barely touching her, so she has a chance to pull away if she wants to.
"Please, my love."
She brushes the back of Agatha's hand as gently as possible.
"If you don't ever wanna see my face again, I will go. And I won't disturb you anymore. But I just want you to understand..."
She pauses, looking as deeply as possible into Agatha's eyes, brown melting into blue.
"I miss you too."
" When will it end ? " Agatha asked while she looked at Rio. Her eyes soon lowered as she knew that was she was the one who was still angry and hurt. But she also knew that death had been following her for so long now. "Doesn't it get tiring for you?" Her voice was low as she spoke. "Waiting for the day I finally die?" A small smirk then formed on her lips as she closed her eyes and thought to herself for a moment.

When she opened her eyes she looked at Rio once again. "It's almost like an excuse by this point." Pushing herself off the tree she slowly walked over to Rio, closing the gap between the two of them. "You say you come to see if I have died yet so you can have my body but really..." Slowly Agatha ran her fingers through Rio's hair. "You come because you still love me."
There was a moment where Agatha only saw the person she had loved for so long, the person she felt she could never live without. But then she remembered what Rio had done to her. Pulling her hand back she backed up a little, feeling the pain and hurt all over again. "I did everything you asked of me. I gave you bodies left and right." Feeling the anger build up inside of her once more she found herself unable to stop herself.
" I loved you ! I worshipped you ! I did everything you wanted and more! Just so you could turn around and take everything from me. Not only did my son died that day but so did my love for you and everything else I held so dear. "

"The one and only."
There's a smirk to Rio's expression. It is fun. She always finds joy in seeing mortals surprised or even scared when they find out who she is. Something that she developed along the years, for it is easier than to be bothered as she once was. Lilia, however, seems to be one of those people that are not necessarily scared of her. Instead, she almost sees some sort of understanding in her eyes.
Agatha is the only mortal that makes her heart beat, of course. Yet, people like Lilia, the ones who have been visited by her enough times to have created some sort of familiarity with her, are capable of making that heart feel a little tighter, a little warmer.
Understanding goes a long way for a creature like her.
"Bing bing bing." She mimics the sound of a button from one of those competition shows mortals have created, the one from when a person gets their answer correctly.
"Correct." She shrugs. "I did say I was in the neighborhood... But well, naturally... Only Agatha got the drift." She fixes herself, touching her clothes and her hair, as if to show herself off. "Truly, I have been honest from the beginning."

She can't help but let out a soft giggle, pulling Agatha close to herself, hands cupping her face.
"Is that so?" She picks a strand of Agatha's hair and puts it away gently, behind her ear.

Each word of Agatha stings like the most painful of cuts, stabbing through her black heart and grasping onto it.
She basks into the feeling of having her touch her, even if it's just for a while. That tender touch she hasn't felt for so long, that she only felt an ounce of that other night.
How she wishes she had not stopped Agatha. But she needed to know the truth. She needed to know Billy wasn't Nicky.
She was so done with it.
She had allowed Agatha to think whatever she wanted about herself. To accuse her of something that was not her fault. To paint Rio as a villain in her own narrative. She had allowed Agatha it all. Because she loved her too much. Because it was a way to keep her. Because she hoped that one day, one day, she would be able to truly forgive her. To truly understand the situation and what Rio had to do.
But Agatha didn't seem to realize, or at least didn't seem to care about the truth.
"Agatha..."
She takes a deep breath, shaking her head, watching her face firmly for a single second. She almost lashes out and screams in anger back at her...
But she can't.
Instead, her expression softens again and she breathes, nostrils flaring up as she closes her eyes for a brief second, before opening them again.
"He was my son too."
" When will it end ? " Agatha asked while she looked at Rio. Her eyes soon lowered as she knew that was she was the one who was still angry and hurt. But she also knew that death had been following her for so long now. "Doesn't it get tiring for you?" Her voice was low as she spoke. "Waiting for the day I finally die?" @lumiroleplays for Rio
She should have recognised her. If not her form, for Death could have many faces, then at least her presence. She'd come so close to her centuries ago, been surrounded by her, when her whole coven had been killed by something she hadn't been able to prevent, something she had seen but couldn't stop; an illness, a plague. And death had collected every last one of them, except for her.
"We didn't summon you," she realised aloud. "You came to collect Sharon Davis. Didn't you?"

"I do too." Morticia smirks, giving one last look at herself as the Black Swan, then noticing her friend still seems to need help with her makeup, she approaches her a little.
"Do you need help with that?"

"I've missed you too..." She touches his face softly, caressing him ever-so gently. She can swear that every time she meets him, he looks even more like a mix of her and Agatha.
It's bittersweet, knowing that they won't be able to see him grow up. And while for Rio it's way less painful than for her wife, for she will continue to see him in her realm when he comes with her, she doesn't really know if he will ever grow up. Or remain a child forever.
There's never been anything like Nicky before.
But either way, it will not be something that she and Agatha will get to share. And the thought of it is hurtful.
"What would you like mother to teach you today, mijo? Flowers? Bugs? Is there anything you're particularly interested in?"
"Down, down, down the road, down the winding road."

She laughs through her tears and some of them fall silently down her face. Rio doesn't really sob or cry loudly, instead keeping her emotions quiet and having her tears fall slowly.
When Agatha draws her closer, she can't resist but let go of her hand and place both hands on her hair, playing with it as she looks at her thoughtfully.
"I would say gilf, but I'm older than you..."
She laughs.
"And if you are a gilf, what does that make me?"
Slowly, she shifts, back to the face that Agatha knows, to the face she fell in love with. She stares at the other woman's face for a moment, trying to find any hint of lies or tricks, but finds nothing.
She has waited to hear those words for so long the fact they're actually being spoken right now make her warm up inside and she can't help but feel her eyes fill with tears. Again.
If one could make Death cry, that person was Agatha Harkness.
She takes the hand that's being offered to her and squeezes it.
"You... You have always been my exception to many rules."
She rubs her thumb against the back of her hand. It doesn't feel as warm as it used to, but she doesn't care. Being somewhat of a spirit herself, Rio can make herself as corporeal or incorporeal as she wants to, so none of this should be an issue. It's just a matter of adapting.
"Besides... You look pretty hot with the white hair." She smirks, looking up at Agatha.

She smiles widely, opening up her arms for him to throw himself there, hugging the little boy with a wide smile and raising him up from the floor, a gentle kiss placed to his cheek.
Her expression shifts to his question, though, concern, mostly. Not for Nicky himself, she knows he'll be fine with her, but for Agatha. For their relationship.
For the doom that's bond to come when she needs to take their son.
"No, mijo, mother just wanted to see you.."

"Down, down, down the road... Down the winding road..."
She echoes, from behind a tree, waving at her son with a small smile. She doesn't really intend on taking him today. There's no lack of balance today, Agatha has been keeping the universe well fed. But whenever she's got a chance, she will visit.
"Hey, Nicky."
"Down, down, down the road, down the winding road."
