Yesterday I studied ~900 anki cards for neuroanatomy, went for a run, practiced Russian, and still had time to read and relax.

Today I am working on my final presentation for my summer internship. It has to be 5 slides (1 title + 4 content) and 3 minutes long. Stuffing 8 weeks worth of work into that is a little challenging but I'm going to make it work! I'm also working on organizing some data for my other project this summer, and need to study more neuroanatomy... I'm hoping today will be just as productive as yesterday.

What is your typical daily routine in the summer?

Wake up too late. Floss & brush teeth, take meds, eat some food and drink a glass of water. Sit somewhere in the house and usually watch a couple of Youtube videos before I start working. Work until late afternoon, eat lunch and run errands at some point. Go for a run or play tennis in the evening, maybe go for a swim. Eat dinner with my parents. Then I get ice cream with my friends, or play board games with my family, or read a book, or watch Netflix. Go to sleep too late.

How do you stay motivated during the summer? (for example, to study)

40% inherent interest in the subject and 60% fear of failure and missing deadlines.

anything i want: ever since i cut out the toxic people in my life and started making time for the positive ones, i’ve felt such a sense of inner peace.  it did wonders for my mental health, and i started taking care of myself better, which i’m proud of ^-^

icarus-study has some BIG NEWS!!

Hello guys!! i’m sunny, owner of this little study space that has received so much love and warmth over the past 2 years. Recently, some events took place in my life that i will forever be grateful for.

1. Two days ago, i got my confirmation allotment letter from the med school i had applied for. YOU GUYS. I GOT INTO MED SCHOOL!!!!!! its official. i feel so so honoured and blessed and grateful for all that is that brought me here. The journey was painfully long and there was blood, sweat and tears that went in.

2. i recently reached 4K FOLLOWERS on here!!!! each one of you is so so precious to me :,,,,) i’m just speechless. i feel overwhelmed by all this extraordinary love and support that i have received here on this platform.
