hi i’m just here to ramble a little about my eldritch terror son so here are a few little thoughts & headcanons regarding shuuya’s appearace

while shuuya can take multiple forms, he usually appears as human (albeit being very much inhuman) since he chooses to reside among people.

he isn’t especially tall (in fact, he’s rather short) at a whopping 5′6.5″, though his hair makes him appear a bit taller than he is. it’s a bit fluffy (i like to give my muses pretty, fluffy, touchable hair--- fucking sue me), unkempt in just the right way to make it look intentional with little spiky pieces here and there, long enough to go passed the tips of his ears and to cover most of his forehead (you can still see slivers of skin just above his eyes, just between his brows). it’s also the deepest, inkiest black; so much so that it almost looks as if it could swallow up anything that it touches. a dark, fluffy little void.

his eyes are more almond shaped, upturned, red (that bright, nightmarishly scary red that screams predator or ‘yeah that guy’s definitely the villain’). also he has five of them, although only the normal two are usually visible. the other three can be found on his forehead (usually closed until in use), typically hidden by his bangs (once in a blue moon perhaps by a headband or a hat; depends how he’s feeling that day). that said, he could cover his whole body in eyes if he wanted to (among other things). he’s gross like that. which i think is very sexy of him.

his human form is very pale, almost translucent in that deathly sort of way. his nails and fingertips are perpetually ink stained in appearance; black stains and inky black vines that bleed into his skin --- traces of his true form seeping through to the surface. veins are less the typical green, blue, purple that one might normally find, and rather appear more blue, black.

canines are sharp, smile is a touch crooked (which sure does make for the perfect, sexy, sometimes sadistic smirk). he’s slim in build, athletic in that runner or dancer sort of way (he doesn’t dance). slightly longer limbed, slightly longer fingers. nose crinkles just a bit when he smiles or furrows his brows. not sure how to describe his nose? or noses in general? but it’s thinner, smooth. cute? sure. 

his skin also lacks any real defining characteristics such a moles, beauty marks, birth marks, scars, or blemishes. it’s almost unnaturally pristine--- aside from being inhumanly pale in complexion and having weird veins and inky fingertips, that is. 

i’ll probably get into his true form at a later date. but basically he’s a weird shadow monster, eldritch terror fuck who can take horror-esque forms and manifest all sorts of nightmarish things. he, the body horror king and wielder of nightmares. sexy monster fucker shit, man. anyway, to be continued.

   yuuji waits for a moment, wondering if megumi is going to offer up any more information before turning his attention back to the books on the table. he´d flipped through some of them earlier, not really getting much out of them. none of the authors ring a bell to him either though to be fair, the only books he ever willingly reads and pays any attention to in his free time are mangas so take that however you want. “that it?”

he can feel a faint heat creeping up his neck, though whether due to embarrassment or annoyance he isn’t entirely sure ( he’s going to go with annoyance ). brows twitch, lightly furrow, gaze unwavering upon his, now judgmental, comrade. who he hadn’t even invited in to begin with.  ‘ what’s wrong with reading. ‘  a pause.  ‘ have you ever even read a book? ‘

he only hums in reply, the ´no thanks´ heavily implied as he lets his fingers rest on the back of the flimsy office chair ; a carbon copy to the one in his room, just like all the other furniture. cheap, bland, grey. uniform. yuuji swings his leg over so he can sit on it the wrong way, his arms crossed on the backrest as he turns to megumi - plastic wheels scraping against the wooden flooring in a blatant act of defiance. “so what do you do then?” his chin comes to rest on his arms. “for fun I mean.”

so, not leaving then--- thought as much. brows knit; relax. he hears the faint squeaking of the chair as his classmate plops himself down, comfortable as can be, and he finally shifts in place, allows his gaze to meet yuuji’s own. he then heaves a noncommittal shrug.··‘ i like to read.·‘· the pile of books on his desk should suggest as much; and he imagines that, based on the sound of rustling pages that he’d heard earlier, yuuji is already aware.·

🍍 ,  how comfortable are they with their body?

i’d say in the case of both? pretty comfortable. though of the two, i’d say that youichi is the most comfortable with his body overall. if it were within his power, he’d likely make himself just a bit taller, but his short stature is something he’s learned to come to terms with and it doesn’t particularly bother him anymore. in the case of keiji, his body just isn’t something that he thinks much about. he isn’t as physically fit as certain others within his friend group (such as bokuto for instance), but he’s fine with that so long as he’s physically healthy.

🍑  ,  how meticulously do they look after their physical appearance?

youichi spends a bit of time on his hair in the mornings, but otherwise doesn’t worry too much about the way that he looks. sure, he wants to look good, but he puts more importance on comfort than style (unless, say, he were going on a date or something--- then he’d be more worried about it).

keiji, on the other hand, likes to look nice, well put together. he fusses with his hair a bit, but also likes to make sure that he always looks presentable. so long as he can help it, of course.

youichi, summer. no doubt. keiji, fall.

🍒  ,  how much do they value companionship?

youichi is big on companionship, even if sometimes he might claim otherwise. he can seem a bit brash and rough around the edges, but he’s genuinely a warm, friendly, big hearted guy and he’s at his best when in the company of people that he cares about (and who care about him in turn). his friends and family (usually) bring out the best in him and push him to succeed or be better. they’re good for him, even when he might say that he doesn’t need them. deep down, i think that he knows that as he tends to gravitate towards others and prefers spending time with others more so than he prefers being alone. 

keiji, on the other hand, is far more of an introvert. he does enjoy company now and again, but is, in general, more particular about who he’s with, how many people that he feels comfortable in the company of, and tends to find himself feeling a bit drained after too much socialization. he cares very deeply about the people lucky enough to become close with him and greatly values the time that he spends with them, though he’s not typically the one to seek it out himself.

gaze flickers, a brief glance cast in yuuji’s direction, a soft ( yet mildly exasperated ) sigh escaping his nostrils.  ‘ you’re welcome to leave. ‘  he says this, yet can’t recall asking yuuji to join him to begin with. rather, he’d more or less invited himself ( barged? ) inside. he seems to have a natural inclination for that; forcing his way into spaces that he hadn’t been invited.  ‘ not particularly. ‘  it wasn’t as though he spent much time in here anyway.
