Entry #2

There was a Wooloo banging on the gate to the Slumbering Wealds. I thought nothing of it at first; it was just a Wooloo. But ohhh boyy was I wrong. We followed it in (was that the correct decision or not? Who knows?) and found this Pokémon. I threw everything I could at it, each attack. Water Gun – went right through. Pound – went right through again. The mist started to thicken. I couldn’t run away. I tried Growl. That didn’t work either.

By the time I opened my eyes again, the mist had cleared. Lee had found us there, completely knocked out. At least the Wooloo was safe.

Not much happened past there, aside from me getting new clothes and a new team. I did find this Ponyta in the boxes at the Pokémon centre, though. I wonder why it was there?

Anyway, after we finished going down Route 2, we met up with Professor Magnolia. She convinced Leon to endorse for the Gym Challenge after a Pokémon battle. I found a rare occurrence of a Nickit. A brilliant Nickit. I’ve heard that they’re much stronger than regular Pokémon, so I caught it. I was too caught up in the moment to take a picture, but it had a golden aura around it.

On our way to Motostoke, we got stopped in the Wild Area, so I went down there. I caught a Pancham and fought a couple dynamax Pokémon, then went off to Motostoke.

I signed up for the Gym Challenge, number 21. We have to stay at the Budew Drop Inn, but I wanted to customize my league card first, so here it is:

Entry #1

Ah. My first day in the Galar region. Hop barged into my room, like usual. I'll forgive him this time; but I was in the middle of watching his brother's match.

The Dynamax phenomenon really interests me, and I can't wait to learn more about it. But honestly, I'd love to get out of these clothes, they are really itchy. And this hat probably won't stay on long either.

Lee, huh? We'll see how "unbeatable" you truly are after I wipe the floor with you. But thank you for the Sobble.

When I told people my name was Luna, they misheard as "Lune," so I'll just stick to the French motif and call him L'eau.

The barbecue was good, perfect for the night before my first win against Hop. We battled, and he was surprised that I already knew about type advantages. My friend, this isn't my first rodeo. You shouldn't have picked a Pokemon that was weak to water.

I guess off to the Pokemon Research Lab for Pokedexes. I'll write again when anything interesting happens.
