About this photo and the elephant in the room - or the statement that it is

This photo is a statement in my opinion. He just stands there. I'm sure that they ask him about things like photos and how he wants them to be edited?! I assume that because you kind of also sell something when you have a band. And maybe want to present yourself and your "brand" in a certain way.

They could have edited his scars (yes plural because you can see multiple ones when you zoom in) out but they did not.

Idk what to say any other what I already said.

They are just there.

It's hard to find neutrality on a topic like that. I mean myself by that. I'm someone who still hides her scars and can't accept that they are just there. But it feel like for him they are just there. By neutrality I mean not hating it but also not loving it. Accepting that they are there. I'm still working on that (when it comes to my own scars)

That's what I meant with that photo is a statement.

The consequences of self-harm are obvious. You deal with scars that everyone can see, depending on the spot where you have your scars. You can also be like me and never go to the swimming pool because your thighs look so awful that...whatever.

I still put shame and blame on me for what I did in the past.

It does not help.

But then again the fans coming in wanting to impose thought control on other fans....not here. Not on my tumblr and also not in real life.

There is no need to overshare (meaning dumping your life story on someone who does not want to hear it) but there is also no need to hide! Because then you step into shame again.

Bad things happen....

They happen to all of us.

Some of us cope in ways that seem strange to others. But it helps us cope and survive. It helped me survive.

Self-harm scars look a certain way when done with certain objects. I spare you the details but trust me....I know. I could quote lyrics but I won't. He does tell us everything....kind of

I don't want anyone to see the pics and be scared to ask something or say something escpecially when they struggle themselves.

Can't help but feel that maybe someone read that?! Maybe he hears us? Maybe that's a response. Idk...! I really don't know but...

I'm someone who always wants to solve things for others. I whish I could take all of your pain away and his, too. But I can't do that. Still struggling with my own. Not every day but some days.

And also...there is help out there, too. I called "those hotlines" a few times myself and just talked to someone instead of doing something horrible to myself.

I notice things...trust me. I'm always kind of here and everywhere observing and watching.

You're not alone. And fans that bully you for having questions....well.....
