also while talking about mtg stories my friends and i would always do the whole "char you" bit from that one world championship whatever clip (been a while I forget). And the reason this is relevant to me today is because whenever Char from gundam is mentioned I immediately recite it in my head

in terms of mtg stories that pithing needle story is definitely up there. While technically not true though mtg honolulu will also be the best one. It's also not a fun story but I've always thought the rest in peace -> pick up graveyard --> 'you missed the trigger' story is a really great example of how people can be assholes

I like the anime but trigger DOES make characters’ bodies look different in ways I don��t appreciate, like making Falin (who is on the thin end of “average” weight) look like she’s had a rib removed, and giving Namari and Senshi more defined muscles when both of them have the kind of build that’s both muscular AND fat and thus shouldn’t look super defined unless they’re really flexing.
