this shit is fucked up just a warning

Tho.mas sha.rpe is the younger of the two siblings He is as his sister said ‘perfect’ he was the good child, his sister abused his gentle passive nature. it is canon that his sister was the actual murder in all of this. and the whole ’love’ his sister thing was actually rape and due to the period and gender stuff well naturally it made him look bad and not very manly. Which him not being a ‘man’ is a theme in the movie by the fact that Ed.ith’s father looks down on him because he has soft hands. Tho.mas also doesn’t learn that the sexual things with his sister, is actually rape and not ‘love’ until after he marries Ed.ith and is shown what love is actually like. His sister was mentally ill and murdered their mother when her mother caught them or rather caught her raping her younger brother who she had twisted into thinking it to be love. she murdered her because their mother was probably going to have her taken away. After all, she was not well in the head. Tho.mas always lived in fear of his sister even if he didn’t fully know what that feeling was. that’s why he went along with his sister’s insane ideas… also if not for fear of death he feared she would do more horrid things than that to him and make him suffer. Tho.mas had always felt guilty for the deaths his sister caused and can see the ghosts of crim.son peak, though over time he ignores them. Ed.ith was also the first woman Tho.mas picked out himself, which is why his sister seems against it right from the start.
