āDid you know there are over 5,000 names in the world? Your name could be in English or your Native language, you could be named after somebody famous. Did you know people are naming their kids after Greek Gods? Iām not gonna gamble because I know Iām gonna lose.ā Despite the frustration and obvious tangent, he was grinning, as if just to speak to her was enough for him. Gage sighed at her repeated attempts at flirtatiousness, and he tried so hard not to gulp, not to give her what she wanted. His hand went into his pocket and fiddled with the cash he had, but he wouldnāt give it up tonight. āPretty sure your bossāll fire you if you take a client for one buck.ā He picked up his own water from the bar and sipped on it in turn. āAnd then how would I get a hold of you, Moonshine?ā Where could he find herā¦
she listened to him rant about finding the right name and she couldnāt help but shake her head as she chuckled as he overthought what could be her name.Ā ā honey, ā she started, the smile still plastered on her face,Ā ā youāre overthinking things and i donāt really think that weāre betting, you know. ā she paused, then placed her glass down as she moved her body to look at him,Ā ā iāll give you a clue: our names are usually connected to our pseudo-names. ā there were oftentimes that she would go down on a client for free, and those clients usually turned out to be the ones she do want to be with in bed.Ā ā does it look like iāve been fired? ā she asked, rhetorically, chuckling at how clueless the other was.Ā ā do you have a pen with you? ā she asked, hatching an idea from her head.Ā

āWell, thereās no way in hell Iām calling you moonshine. Iām not a stalker, no way Iām telling those losers your actual name,ā he thumbed in the direction his friends were sitting, where he had been moments earlier. He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth and asked, āSo how much do the beds cost?ā He knew he couldnāt afford it, but didnāt want the conversation to end. She looked better with an oversized jacket than wearing next to nothing. Her face was natural and beautiful, a little sheen on her forehead from sweat.
despite the flirtatious reply she gave to the other, it was more of an excuse as to not say her name. the secrecy of the name was more of a safety precaution and she would only reveal it to people that would befriend her. she chuckled at his reply, ordering water by the bar instead of alcoholics.Ā ā well, if you were to guess, what would be my name then? ā she asked, curious if he would be smart enough to link her alias to her real name.Ā ā well, thereās no cost, really. iām just a stripper, so i donāt have a price, so to say. clients just show big wads of money and if we think itās enough, we take it. but for you, ā she looked him up and down, drinking her water.Ā ā i wouldnāt mind getting just a dollar. ā

āiām telling you! a bird swooped down and took my bracelet right from my wrist! look, it even nipped me!ā the blonde shoved her wrist in the crew memberās face, a pout heavy on her lips. there were no birds in sight.Ā āif i donāt get some sort of compensation for this mishap thenā¦then iām going to have to go to your superior. that was a family heirloom!ā her eyes narrowed onto a passerby, and in a sharp tone,Ā āexcuse me, can you please, please, help me get some sort of justice?ā
luna was just on her way towards the bar for her morning shift. the bar turned to some breakfast kind of bar that served beer and breakfast food in the morning. she was not rushing as she was barely late with her shifts but the sudden tantrumĀ from a passenger held her up and she could only look at her with disdain.Ā ā youād think the bird is part of our crew? come back when you see the bird with a hallorann id. next time, ā she began,Ā ā keep an eye to your valuables, please. ā

Somehow they dragged him up to the elite stripperās club. Heād protested that he could get a girl just fine, easily in fact, but the men, acting drunk as if they were at a fucking bachelorās party, wouldnāt take no for an answer. The scantily clad women danced around and, for whatever reason, Gage felt embarrassed for them. He kept his cash in his pocket and his leg thrummed up and down. He looked around the room, anything to avoid the woman who was trying to make serious eye contact with him inches from his face, and saw an Asian woman staring in his direction. Huh. She turned away but, no matter how many women came up to dance for him, he didnāt feel anything. Finally after twenty grueling minutes of these charades he got up to get some water so he wouldnāt get dehydrated, having been drinking earlier. āDo you give out names here?ā he asked the woman he had eyed earlier. āReal names, I mean. Iām Gage.ā He offered a hand to shake, formal for some godawful reason. It was making him look bad.
tonight was one of those full house nights where the strip bar is filled with men. sultry music filled the surroundings as she gracefully slid on the pole that she had branded as hers when she arrived the hallorann. men were cheering for the three women who were dancing and the others were flustered with how the other women showed their breasts to them. the see-through black lingerie ā with only her breasts and lower part still covered ā she wore hugged her figure, and it was easy to move her body around with it. she eyed a broad man, he seemed attractive and she kept the eye contact when he stared back, her dancing more expressively, hoping to catch more of his attention. when he moved away, she focused on different men. it was another night as usual. when it was time for her to take a break, she took a nearby leather jacket and wrapped it around her frame and walked towards the bar. she turned her head towards the man that was staring at her earlier, eyebrow raising at his question.Ā ā moonshine. āĀ she let out, a grin on her face, then immediately turned seductive.Ā ā my real name is reserved for those whoād want to moan it in bed. ā the brunette said, shaking his hand, her smile all-knowing.

|| jamie chung, cisfemale, she/her || ( luna song ) is a ( 32 ) year old ( bartender/stripper ) on the hallorann for the last ( 3 years ). people say they are ( charismatic ) but also (insouciant ), and remind others of ( silk robes on the floor, perfectly manicured finger nails, high heels that can hurt ). bet they sure didnāt expect anyone to know about ( her killing a client accidentally because he was hurting her in intercourse ) but someone does, and ( luna ) better cooperate if they plan to keep their lives.
i need to stop.
about her (tw sexual harassment, murder, death)
luna was definitely born in the wrong country. her mother was an american who fell in love with a korean businessman who only ever found her as his personal escort.
the establishment where her mother worked was at least merciful to their long time escort and let her have the baby but the baby was to be taken care of someone. they could not let one of their prized possessions be bothered by motherhood.
the drawback? lunaās future is solidified and she was to work at the same establishment her mother works on. her mother did not want that but it was better than that than her daughter disposed of or taken away from her.Ā
she was given basic elementary education but was refused high school education because it meant that she would become ambitious and would try to pry away from the life she was meant to live.
so when she was 12, she helped out at the bar where they were, usually washing the dishes and it was like that for 6 years.
when she turned 18, it was her first time in front of a crowd, dancing, stripping.Ā
it was scary at first and her first time was definitely underwhelming. her virginity cost a million dollars since they auctioned virgins first and the one who can pay most gets to deflower the best virgin.
sheās gotten used to her lifestyle that she allowed her attitude to change along with it. it would suit her personality, her persona: moonshine. which is almost the translation of her name.Ā
clients could definitely be good to her but there were the bad ones as well. there was this drunk dude who assaulted as after their first sexual round because she was leaving. he yelled at her and hit her and she could not do anything else so she had to succumbed to his wishes and fucked him. she was on top and she was crying and he was half conscious but she knew he was drifting off. when she was finished, she was so mad at the guy that she placed a pillow over his head as he was snoring.
the establishment made it so that the dude just died in his sleep and since he had drank so much the night before, majority believed it was alcohol poisoning and luna was glad that she wasnāt escorted off.
but her punishment? she was sent to the hallorann and she could not come back to the establishment until her mother dies.Ā
which is why, she is here right now.
pls love her and plot w me!Ā
