Cricut
Hi! I’m Amber. Mom, wife, grandma and DIY enthusiast.
I’m not really sure where I first heard of a cricut, but I do know that since my first machine I’ve been seriously addicted.
There are a couple different machines currently available. I use the cricut maker, which is the newest model available. If you love crafting or even want to start your own craft-related business, I think familiarizing yourself with a cricut is the way to go. If you have zero experience it can be a learning curve, but it’s not impossible. I’m self taught, so honestly if I can learn anyone can!
If I lost you at “Cricut” and you’re wondering what exactly that is, it’s a cutting machine for numerous materials. You are able to cut vinyl, cardstock, thin wood, plastic, fabric and so much more. The newer models also have a writing feature! The possibilities with this machine are endless!
So, I started with making vinyl decals, signs and tshirts. I’m now designing and selling my own cut files.
One of my favorite things to make are these hand-charred flags! It’s 5ft! My husband in the background gives a little size comparison view.
