Truly I hate to do this to you all but; you can watch all the videos and read all the blogs in the world but you cannot learn to sew without at some point picking up a piece of fabric and fucking it up. No tutorial exists that will stop you at some point ruining this poor piece of cloth. The visceral act of holding a project and wondering where you went wrong is the only way to learn sewing; you cannot escape it. I’m sorry

This is both hilarious and wild to me bc I have two goose feathers on my altar but I got those from a lady I catsit for (I also got two of my cats from said lady and one of them is literally Allfather’s favorite little meow meow)

I never considered *buying* feathers lmao. Let alone anything that can get me reported by a game warden. I live in Texas them fuckers are MEANIES.

You may think it cruel but when a white witch pisses me off I go through her etsy listings for native bird feathers and forward it to fish and wildlife services

When I was in kindergarten, my dad had a Carhartt jacket (we still have that haven’t 20 off years later, and who knows how long he had it before me)

And I was so in love with his carhartt jacket bc it was legit the most warm thing. I begged him to let me wear it to kindergarten all the time. I never realized he was going without his most durable work jacket for me. I guess my mom noticed, bc that Christmas I got my very own pink carhartt jacket and I was so ecstatic. I told everyone me and my daddy were matching and I think u had that jacket until I was at least 8 years old before it stopped fitting me. I bet that jacket is still being worn today by some other little kid.

Those jackets last like crazy. My dad and I are self employed and work metal fab. The best products we buy are all carhartt. Coveralls, jackets and I think my dad has a pair of work shoes by em. Damn good brand.

I have no idea who or what carhartt is but i always see big boys wearing em so they have my full support
