“god, me too.” the elder reassured the other, a small smile appearing on her lips, as she does the same. she’s glad that she was able to find the time to hang out with one of her favorite people in the world, especially since she needed some time away from the carrington’s, to get her head on straight. “there’s not much to tell. me and tobias got close after a while, me and jackson got divorced, and that’s about it. what about you? what have you been up to?”

                        ❝  you  &  tobias got close ?  like ...  HOW  close ?  ❝   luna repeats , looking over just so she can wiggle her brow at her dear friend .  she’s being noisy as shit per usual , but she doesn’t care .   ❝  also , super glad the divorce is finalized ,  ❝   the femme smiles , because as much as she’s on vale’s side considering what jackson did , he was still a family friend to the santiago’s  &  in luna’s life for a long time . once the roles are reversed however , and she starts asking her about what’s new with her .... luna simply sighs .   ❝  in truth ...  NOTHING  , yeah , i know that’s surprising but i’ve just been hanging around with my dad as much as i could until he left for tour so now i’m just like .... i don’t know what to do with myself ,  ❝

“yes.” maddox hummed in pure amusement as he looked back at her, not even the slightest bit phased by the sudden appearance of her - in fact he would be more freaked out if she suddenly started acting all normal on here. “you look like you weigh less than my warm up weights lu.” he offered though he was allowing her to rumble for the food he had, he was pretty sure there was a pie in there somewhere. he had made sure to keep himself surrounded with food so that he didn’t turn somewhere else when he had a craving. being sober was going to be so bad for his waist line and his new show did now allow for that. far too many shirtless scenes. “are you done shooting for the day?” 

                                ❝   that’s  offensive ,  ❝   the brunette warns him ,  index finger raising his way even though she’s not exactly offended , not even the tiniest bit because she knows what he means .  but still .  ❝  i’m way more tougher than that ,  ❝   she continues with a scoff , before helping herself with the contents of his mini fridge .  luckily , she finds a wrapped burrito and a piece of apple pie , which she both takes before closing it .   ❝  i don’t know , they told me they’ll call me if i’m needed ,  ❝   she replies with a roll of her chocolate hues , making it clear the situation’s going on her nerves .   ❝  are you done ?  ❝

there weren’t many women that jackson actually cared about in a wholesome way, but luna was one of them - mainly because her dad had performed on his shows plenty of times and had asked him to keep an eye on luna and threatened to chop off the appendage that he cherished most if he had any kind of inappropriate thoughts about her. but nonetheless, luna had become like a little sister to him. he’s sitting in the club, surrounded by a bunch of his buddies from snl before the familiar brunette plops in his lap, grin immediately spreading across his lips as he wrapped his arms around her waist, placing an affectionate kiss on the cheek. “well, isn’t this a nice surprise? to what do i owe the pleasure?”

                                 truly , despite his reputation around town with women ,  &  the  (  now thankfully  finalized  )  past he had with one of her favorite co-stars ,  luna considers the male to be like family , which explains why the thought of looking at him any other way never even crossed her mind .  his buddies from snl however , are a  different story  ,  &  luna soon captures the attention of one , already offering him a small wave  &  a smile despite the fact she’s sitting on jackson .   ❝  i got bored in my booth  &  luckily i saw you coming in ,  ❝   she explains as she turns her attention back on him , flashing a big smile .   ❝  heard your divorce got finalized , does that mean women will be coming for my neck for sitting on your lap ?  ❝   she jokes .

delphieacres​:

every  small  noise  causes  her  to  jump,  liquor  driven  and  ketamine  induced  hallucinations  coming  out  to  play.  she’s  been  creeping  around  the  house,  painted  toes  tiptoe  around and across broken glass,  as  if  the  floors  were  to  cave  under  her.  there’s  a  B A N G,  breathing  halts  and  she  rushes  to  crouch  beside  her  bed.  agitation  and  panic  accelerates,  hands  rushing  to  cover  her  ears  as  a  wave  of  white  noises  infiltrates  her  hearing.  she  hums  to  herself,  a  lullaby  her  grandfather  sung.  she  doesn’t  hear  luna,  too  focused  on  blocking  the  noises. 

                                while luna’s no stranger to drugs given the fact she’s a daughter of a  rock legend  , there’s not many things that surprise her , but what she sees once noticing delphie crouching behind her bed hits almost  entirely  different .   ❝   d ....  ❝   her voice almost cracks upon the sight of her rocking back  &  forth , clearly out of it  &  obviously on something much heavier than what luna herself experiments on .   ❝  mierda ,  ❝   she whispers to herself , for a moment unsure of what to do , but soon reaches over , sitting down before her friend .  hands slowly ,  carefully  reach up to touch her own ,  not wanting to cause any further panic or harm the femme before her is clearly going through .   ❝  it’s me , it’s  LUNA  ,  ❝

what scares you?

                           ❝  whatever the fuck is in the deepest parts of the ocean , alligators , clowns , losing my dad .... also  LONELINESS ,  not in a way you probably think , i like being alone sometimes , but it’s that feeling of just utter loneliness that gets me , the kind that makes people forget you exist , that you matter .... y’know ?  ❝

                                 another week , another santiago party .  this time around , it’s more of a farewell party considering the band’s going back on tour , leaving luna alone in los angeles once more .  it’s bittersweet really , but as much as she’d like to tag along , she knows she can’t because of filming her tv show .  she’s pushing through the crowd to find kaiden once he texts her that he’s there , a bright smile forming on her features once she spots him .   ❝  hi handsome !   you’re finally here !  ready to  PARTY  like a santiago ?  ❝  her brows wiggle playfully as she steps forward , kissing his cheek .  ❝  by the way , i know you wanted to meet  ALDO  so , ...  ❝   soon enough , she’s calling the pet by that name ,  &  incomes a full grown monkey dressed in a suit  &  tie .  luna picks him up like a baby , smiling big as she presents him to kaiden .   ❝  kai , meet aldo .  aldo , this is kai ,  ❝   she introduces them as if he’s an actual person , but considering how he’s dressed  &  how they treat him , he almost is .

                            it wasn’t a shocker     that.     he would be here ,      regardless     of      whatever happened with luciana .      their families     had     been      friends for      the longest ,       maybe even before     they      were born .      so here      he is ,      on his fathers behalf     and         because      he’s been told      by mafe more      than once ,      that he needs to      get out      and       have some fun .          as they approach      luna ,    he can feel       her displeasure       for his presence      and       a shake      of     his head      is delivered .       ❛ nah you’re fine ,      I’m going      to preform    for you      papa     and      then head out ,      i promised       my dad ,       i would check     on mafe before       going home .      so you’re good     , no need    to       play nice. ❜     the youngest jaramillo      says      as he lets     his eyes scan       the public ,      a few eyes      on him        already     trying to catch      his attention       but for the     first time      his mind is so clouded ,     that the women      around ,    don’t      cause       any interest . 

                                  ❝  you’re going to  PERFORM  ?   ❝   it’s the first thing that captures her attention , failing to hide her surprise as her dark orbs go somewhat wide .  she’s clearing her throat the next moment , trying her best to conceal the fact she feels some type of way , that the fact he’s going to do this for her dad ,  knowing how much it’ll warm his heart , equally warms her own .   ❝  i  ALWAYS  play nice ,  ❝  she’s quick to protest , brows knitting together in stubbornness , refusing to give him even the slightest of a satisfaction that he may be right .  or even worse , that he actually  knows  her .  luna notices his eyes scan around , taking the opportunity to look at him while he’s elsewhere occupied .  she makes it her mission not to get caught doing so , as her dark orbs scan down his features , his attire ,  &  most of all , his face .  there’s a part of her that wishes to run his fingers through his hair almost by instinct , but she’s quick to shake the idea away as she forces herself to look away .   ❝  c’mon , i’ll lead you to the bar ,  ❝   she decides , her tone unusually nice as she starts breaking through the crowd , offering smiles every now  &  then when someone looks her way .  unlike the parties in palmwood that are typically more young-hollywood based , there’s a lot of older , a-list celebrities in luna’s house than one can count .  from rock legends to oscar winners , the party is flowing with old hollywood names ,  &  of course , a couple of younger ones .  for luna however , it’s nothing unusual given that she grew up surrounded by it , seeing it as normal by now , just like a hug she shares with mick ( jagger ) upon reaching the open bar .   ❝  i didn’t ask ...  how’s mafe doing ?  ❝   she decides to ask once she orders another glass of whiskey on the rocks .

                              when she receives a call in the middle of the night from delphie talking about weird ass shit , most of which luna doesn’t even bother to remember , she’s quick to put something on  (  which in this hour means an oversized hoodie she stole from pepa ) ,  &  she’s at her place in no time .  she doesn’t bother knocking when she knows the place is open , as she walks in .   ❝   DEL  !  i’m here , where you at ?   ❝   she shouts through the place until she eventually finds her , a small sigh leaving her once she sees the state she’s in .   ❝  oh mi amor ....  what happened ?  ❝
