she's the queen of all dead wives and fridged female characters in supernatural. arguably the most important death in the entire show.

Ogami Banri:

Not only is he a dead wife, he’s a fridged wife! Killed off (runs away to become an office worker) to facilitate his ex’s character development, and now that ex has the laughing wife in bed flashback of him 500 times a day, mostly while flirting with his ex’s new partner. Prior to becoming a dead wife, he was also a nagging wife! He constantly told Yuki that he needed to do things like be polite to people, wake up on time, attend obligations, communicate properly, be a functional human being. How annoying! Just like a wife (<—JOKING) Finally: he’s a little insane. His immediate reaction to learning that a creep had “brainwashed” his partner was not to convince his partner the man was taking advantage of him or lying to him but rather to ghost everyone he ever knew and presumably to live on the streets for a while before being taken in as an office worker. He does not seem to have had any less drastic plans and was surprised to find out that his ex Yuki and Yuki’s new partner (Momo) had missed him, were still looking for him, and still wanted him in their lives. He is still avoiding Yuki, but he and Momo text every single day
