storyland in new hampshire has a terrifying kitchen kabaret knockoff. the video i found of it is called "melody farm follies" but the video calls it the "good time jamboree" this video appears to be some sort of demo of it, but there's videos of it at storyland too... if you look at the broccoli and the pineapple they definitely look like kitchen kabaret knockoffs...
That show is mass produced for sale by Advanced Animations! :D They’ve appeared at many state fairs as well. Here’s some 2007 footage of the Storyland band!

And here’s some promotional footage.

GIFs I made (to varying degrees of success). I had to put my GIF making program into a headlock to get the darn thing to work.
Created from the video recently released by showbizpizza.com.
Go see Crusty and the boys in action! Link here: http://www.showbizpizza.com/videos/ptt/index.html
Note: Chuck is speaking in his GIF but his mouth moves so little it’s borderline imperceptible. He’s that way throughout the entire video.

You absolutely need to check out this show, also from Duinrell Park in the Netherlands. It’s called the Kwakus Kwebbel Show, and it has some really unique, well-designed animatronics. Not to mention anthropomorphic insects that sing really nice songs. This particular video also has captions!

Oh man, these are wonderful animatronics! <3 Is this show still around?? :0

Sorry if this is kind of a weird question, but do you know any information about the clown animatronic from Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure? My mom swears she’s seen it in real life somewhere leading me to believe there were more than one of them, but I can’t find anything about them online besides an ended auction with no information other than that it was made in New York.
A similar clown was on display at Funtown Mountain before the owner’s drug-fueled rampage, during which it was destroyed (thrown into the parking lot with its face smashed off.)
Tumblr media
It’s a mass-produced character created for advertising outside of stores, built by Clarence D. Malcom.
Here is a thread full of pictures of the different clowns spotted worldwide. And for specifics, here’s a direct link to a post in the thread related to their production!
Here’s hoping the screen-used clown wound up in good hands, but he’s definitely not the only one of his kind!

Adamthewoo has visited an obscure Florida roadside attraction, and found some wonderful animatronics inside! Plenty of dinosaurs, and some repurposed Gemmy halloween bots (Heads-Up Harry, several butlers, and at least FOUR fat rats!). This place is AWESOME! (Plus, cute animals, too!)

What are some of the loudest animatronics, mechanism-wise? Like the ones that perform and have voices and such, but you can still hear the servos when they move?
Here’s an adorable little fellow with very loud motors:
youtube
Additionally, an infamous example I can think of would be Gemmy’s Sally animatronic from last year. She’s beautiful, but she’s gained the name “Mrs. Click-And-Buzz” for good reason.

My family took me to Chuck E. Cheese for my birthday and our animatronic is in relatively good condition :)

Ohhh, what a beautiful Alpha stage! <3 It always makes me happy to see these guys running properly, since my closest location has had a Beta who’s been broken since childhood.

“Bouregard” the clown cook, freshly built vs post-fire.
How amazing is it that such an obscure character survived? Especially given the circumstances (he was fully engulfed in flame, alongside Ellie).
I don’t know about you guys, but I think he looks happy that he’s still here today. I bet he and his Circus Playhouse pals are excited to be up and running again for a new genre of entertainment! (After all, a haunted house attraction is also meant for people to have fun, just like their original gig!)

Found some interesting displays at an old arcade in Hyannis! Sadly, they weren’t working at the moment (there was some kind of power outage affecting the token-operated machines).

Anybody want an entire untested, worn condition PTT balcony band, complete with the Warblettes and clapper board?
Well, for $15k, if you’ve got the space for them and the repair skills, they’re all yours!
Better act quick, though, seems a lot of people have been eyeing it.
