The whole book is about how we should try to find rules other people can’t possibly reject, and then he ends it by saying, “The search for how to find those rules will go on forever.” I proposed a rule that Chidis shouldn’t be allowed to leave because it would make Eleanors sad, and I could do this forever, zip you around the universe showing you cool stuff, and I’d still never find the justification for getting you to stay. Because it’s a selfish rule.

I just watch To All The Boys Ps. I Still Love you and i dont know maybe it’s because i read the book like two days ago that the movie doesn’t feel complete to me. Don’t get me wrong. I liked the movie but i feel they left out so many details on why Peter and Lara Jean end up broking up in the first place. Now i know that it is hard to adapt a whole book into screen but they left out other stuff and even characters that at least i think they should’ve put much more complexity on their relationship. How Gen gets stuck in Lara Jean’s head and how Peter spends way much time with Gen than he should have. And as for John Ambrosse i just feel he was so much more than what they showed. Lara Jean was so conflicted between the two of them that it should have been harder for her (in the movie) just walk out and leave John there. In conclusion, the book for me is way better but the movie it’s okay. I think for the ones who didn’t or won’t read the books they’re gonna love it. And I can see why they wanted to do it this way. I’ll be waiting to see the last movie.
