Have you even read Dceased or are you just going off this one issue? Tim and Dick are dead and Jason and Cass are in a magical jungle of some sort w Constantine and some of Justice League Dark so how are they supposed to take up the mantle while dead? And there’s like at tops maybe a thousand pushing it (I’m not sure) ppl in the jungle Jason’s found refugee in so there’s not much need for Batman there. Also if you have read Dceased and you still think Damian has the chance to be a ‘child’ then idk what to say his dad died his mom, well we won’t go there. He’s only got Alfred and Jon so.... and anyone whose been in a zombie apocalypse w only 6million survivors out of the 7billion people who used to inhabit earth isn’t going to have much of a childhood. I don’t think you’ve actually read Dceased and you think it’s mainstream canon well it’s not it’s an elseworld story (side comic) so Damian isn’t actually Batman in the main universe and in this one he didn’t have the choice to turn down the mantle as it was said that ‘the people needed batman’ and you could see he didn’t even want to wear it due to it solidifying that his dad is dead so cut him some slack bb Damian been through too much 😔🤚 I don’t really know how threads and reposts work so I’ll just @ you @chaseha-wing but yeah I think you need to read Dceased to understand the situation a bit more.
