Since many people invest in Real Estate for the sole purpose of making money, there are actually many people who do not need to live in the homes in these areas. However, most investors in Real Estate prefer to live in these SEAs, as they offer a lot more potential return on investment than residential homes and many people prefer to stay in these areas permanently.
One advantage of investing in residential real estate is the fact that there are almost no restrictions on what you can do with the property. This is unlike commercial property, where you are restricted by the development guidelines in most cases. In addition, with residential real estate, you can build almost anything you want. Unlike commercial real estate, which can have limits to what you can build, and remodeling, you can remodel almost everything, from the inside of a building to the exterior. Even if you want to build on top of the existing structure, it is very easy to do so with residential real estate.
