little write up on some adrian disability thoughts as ive been watching the show!

my headcannon is that all sentimonsters are in some way disabled (kagami is deaf and uses a talker, felix has eds, etc) and part of the conflict with their guardians that specifically kagami and adrien have are that kagami and adrien are beautiful, smart, funny, kind, compassionate, creative, willing to learn and grow, the epitome of children anyone would want, but they're also disabled in a way that needs help, constant help, and tomoe and gabriel didnt want to put effort into this fantasy theyd constructed or give these wonderful kids the help theyd need to be what they wanted them to be, so their kids are haunted by the ghosts of what perfect meant to their parents.

Horikoshi’s note: Like his sister, he too was constantly troubled by his family circumstances, but his sister told him “Leave our family circumstances to me  and go do what you want to pursue”. He decided to pursue higher education. He’s currently studying medical welfare ( His major is written as “医療福祉” which doesn’t have a clear cut translation (for me anyway) but involves connecting medical care to welfare.  Basically, its sort of an umbrella term for various therapist jobs like physical therapy, occupational therapist and whatnot.)

His favorite things are sashimi (food) and the sea.

Something to note: Fuyumi is a teacher to compensate for being unable to protect Shoto, Natuso studies medicine most likely because of his mom, and Shoto is a hero to help people in need. All the Todoroki siblings (so far) seem to have goals centered around helping people because they grew up in an abusive home
