What is the default password for Netgear Nighthawk x10?
The Netgear Nighthawk X10 AD7200 is a Smart WiFi Router that is also known as R9000. Netgear nighthawk x10 is the second 802.11ad router that our experts have tested. The router is specially designed for large homes, offices, and organizations. This is a gargantuan router that is chock-full of networking goodness features like MU-MIMO, circuitry for 60GHz 802.11ad networking, data streaming, and 160 MHz, WI-Fi technology, etc. It provides a 10G SPF, LAN port, WAN port and generally seen on enterprise-level routers. Netgear Nighthawk x10 is a quad-stream dual-band router with 4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bandwidth.

You can either use the Netgear Genie web-based console or the Netgear Nighthawk app to manage the settings and log in to your Netgear Nighthawk x10 router. When you access the Basic home page, you can access all of its Basic internet and wireless settings. Here you will also receive the basic information about the attached devices, like the IP address and MAC address, Guest Network setup, Parental control setup, and enable 'Network and sharing center'. But all you need to do is download the mobile app "Netgear Nighthawk" or go through the Netgear Genie setup.
Netgear Nighthawk x10 setup process
· Open a web browser on a PC or computer communicating to the router's LAN port or wireless network.
· Your computer can communicate to the router's LAN port directly, through an Ethernet cable but for the mobile device, you need a wireless network only.
· Go to the browser's home page and type the web address www.nighthawk-app.com, or just enter the IP address of your Netgear Nighthawk x10 router.
· The Netgear Genie setup wizard will walk you through the internet and wireless network settings.
· Follow the instructions given by the Netgear Genie setup wizard to set up and install your Netgear Nighthawk x10 router.
Netgear Nighthawk X4 R7500 Default SSID and WiFi Password change and enable Network Encryption.
There is a suggestion to change and replace the Netgear Nighthawk X4 R7500 Default WiFi name as it will make it easier for the users to know which network they want to connect to. Follow some of the few explained steps in the below section;

Steps:
1. Look for the advanced tab found in the menu section at the top of the page, and then click on it.
2. Get the Setup section, found just on the left-hand side of the menu bar, and then tap on it.
3. Next, you should look for the "Wireless Setup" option, found on the left-hand side of the menu bar, and then click on it.
4. Here, you will see the SSID. SSID is the WiFi name of your Netgear Nighthawk X4 R7500 Router.
5. Do not use your personal information since this is not a Face book status! To put in the SSID field.
6. You can have your SSID name, such as Mr. Paul Prince home, my funny WiFi name, I love my WiFi!, FBI Surveillance#594, cares away foolish criminals, Lord of the Pings....etc.
Once you have selected and created the WIFI network name for your Netgear Nighthawk network, enable WPA2-PSK encryption on your Nighthawk X4 R7500 router. WPA2-PSK is considered the most secure encryption standard for your home WIFI networks.
You should enter a new WPA Pre-Shared Key or the WiFi Password – this is the password that will be required to communicate to your home WiFi. Keep your password with 16 to 20 characters, and please! Do not repeat the previously used password for your Netgear Nighthawk X4 R7500 router login page.
Netgear Nighthawk X4 R7500 Reset instruction
Resetting the router to factory default settings is an essential task each user should perform under some special conditions. But the selection of that particular situation in which reset can be done is an important fact. We can do a reset eventually. It should be restricted act in some pre-defined conditions. Reset removes and clears all the customized settings of a user. That is why before reset, either take a backup or be prepared to lose your settings. You can again create a customized setting just after the reset. Do as directed here:

· Turn your Netgear Nighthawk x4 router by plugging and pushing the power button.
· Move your eyes around the router and locate a reset button. As you found it, pick a pin or a needle.
· Insert that pin or the reset screw into the given hole to press the tiny reset button available inside it.
· Hold the reset button for a few seconds or up to 30 seconds, and then release.
· Your Netgear Nighthawk X4 Router will reboot on its own. Your router has been reset and is ready to use again.
