I have never seen a manatee come straight out of the water like this long enough to take pictures! Our neighbors were flushing out their boat and this one was nearby and came over for a little drink. It is illegal to draw manatee to your dock on purpose with water because it causes the manatee to be unable to get underwater enough to avoid the boat propellers. But my sweet neighbors would never do that.
